That's very good news, and I am relieved for you! Still a pain that the fibroids will have to come out, but overall good news!

I guess the question is exactly what needs to come out with the fibroids. Sounds like the ovaries might be able to stay.

Hi menu friends,

JB, sorry you had such a rough day at work. Your new car is beautiful! My poor old beast (a year 2000 Chevy Blazer) rarely starts in winter and it is time for me to get a new (to me) vehicle but I am attached to the Blazer so keep putting it off. Meanwhile, between it not starting and my fear of winter driving, I'm not going anywhere I can't get to by walking, lol.

QOTD: I've always loved books and movies and when I was little, used to get very upset at some of the endings. My Mom always said I can use my imagination and make whatever I want happen and change the endings. That led to a lifelong love of writing.

Accountability: Great. I'm right on track.

Menu:

Breakfast: 2 cups of decaf with 1/4 cup premier protein as whitener in each, 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt with 1/4 cup blueberries.

Lunch: Beef soup broth, cheese string, pepperette

Supper: Ribs

Snacks: tomato, olives (2), pickle; blueberries

Ex: either walk or stationary bike

Oops; forgot to add the pic so I had to edit, lol. This is me with my cute hamster, Chunkers. Sorry the lighting is bad. The next is a pic from one of my walks, taken a few days ago.

Pre-Op Visit: Jan. 10, 2017, weight 304, surgeon: Dr. David Lindsay, St. Joe's, Toronto

1st Day of (3 weeks worth of) Optifast: Jan. 11, 2017
