Got some good news after my post. I can get in for my ultrasounds on Monday morning or tomorrow if there are any cancellations. I'm glad that I don't have to wait longer.

Good morning menu peeps! It's a balmy 57 now in Illinois and Lily and I have our 4 miles in. Will do another mile sometime before dinner before the colder temps come back in. Accountability was good yesterday--substituted 2 sm square pieces of thin crust pizza for supper but no extra bites or tastes. QOTD anything I see that's sweet I crave. Absolutely anything. Post op 5 years 4.5 months and weight at 118.2 today. Heres the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz deli turkey and cheese with mustard D 31/2 oz ground beef with 1/4 c carrots and cheese S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added strawberry jam. Have a great day full of smart and careful choices!

Good Morning! Happy Friday-Eve. Try and stay healthy Daisy. This crud is not fun, I hope you are sparred and don't get it. Yesterday was a little better but I have some follow up meetings to have today- to close the loop on the issues from the other day. Hoping from here on out my team functions more cohesively.

Accountability: I had a handful of nuts when I was packing my lunch and I made a PB&J on low carb Lavash closer to bedtime.

QOTD: I have been craving Chipotle chips but have just avoided having Chipotle completely. It's been easy to do since there is the whole "don't eat romaine lettuce" thing right now and since I order the salad....

Time since surgery: 3 years 5 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps (per the above statement I have been using green leaf instead of romaine this week) and baby carrots

S: Salami, Carbmaster yogurt, and mixed nuts

D: Spaghetti squash casserole, a boiled egg and a square of 90% dark chocolate

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with SF jam and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1187 Protein:112 Carbs:64 Fat:57

I am thankful for all of you. Thank you for being here.

Good morning. Continuing to do well, so accountability was near perfect yesterday. I ended up at 120 grams of protein, so while not a significant problem about 20 grams more than i needed.

QOTD - I've had 3 big cravings and yes I gave in, as I've mentioned in a few posts this year. The first was Portillo's lemon cake (special edition, as it was off the menu for 10 years and my absolute favorite). I got a piece for my birthday. Over the holiday I wanted some pizza and Garrett's caramel corn while on vacation. Gave in on those too. Didn't eat much of any of those. Actually threw away the popcorn after 2 cups. The great news is that none of those items really did it for me, like they once did. The memory was better than reality (that or my tastes have really changed). So now these things hold very little power. That was a big learning for me. I can't really think of anything I've eaten that makes me weak in the knees anymore. So now it's much easier to walk passed those food items being sampled or sitting in the kitchen. This learning, plus watching the new season of my 600 pound life reminded me I don't want to walk back that way. I was so close to that life. Can't forget it. So while I'm glad I learned those things - not again!

B - 2 hard boiled eggs (1/2 of one yolk)

S - Fage 6oz and 0.4 oz of seeds (pumpkin and sunflower)

L - 4 oz rotissere chicken and small salad

S - Syntrax protein shake (not sure yet which flavor)

D - 1/4 cup Brussel Sprouts and 3.5 oz Turkey breast

S - Popsicles SF

Howdy,

QOTD: I do pretty good avoiding most stuff but evenings are tough. I have an addiction to peanut butter and switched to PB2 powder which I add to low carb yogurt but I slip up and eat real peanut butter often in very small quantities on a baby spoon. So the peanut butter will be leaving the house soon for good since I am an addict.

Food for the day:

Lots of coffee with carbonator ff milk.

1/2 protein bar

yogurt chicken with cauliflower mashers

cheese stick frigo string

Dinner: unsure but meat and some sort of veggie

yogurt low carb

Water, all vits, low carb and less then 750

Ok...what are your cauliflower masters?

I use frozen cauliflower, boil it until it's soft, drain it and then ma**** with a fork (I add a little butter, salt and pepper when mashing). When I eat it, I usually put a sprinkle of shredded cheddar and bacon pieces.
