I use homemade unflavored greek yogurt, frozen strawberries, a scoop of protein powder and a squirt of sugar free liquid drink mix--strawberry watermelon flavor. Whiz it in my ninja and that's it, comes out like soft serve ice cream. Extras can be frozen and re-mixed to be spoon-able or eaten like a popsicle.
I was amazed to see all the postings on this forum today. It must be the post-holiday resolution affect!
QOTD: My PCP suggested I talk to the local bariatric program in 2014, but I didn't follow through as that was when we were realizing that DH had Alzheimer's and shutting down his law practice. In the summer of 2015, I started researching surgery online and became interested in the VSG as it seemed to address some of my previous concerns when I read about WLS in the past. I attended an informational seminar in October 2015, but wasn't impressed with that group. Then I attended another one in November and made my first appointment with my surgeon that night. I had my all day workup on 12/4/2015 and surgery on 3/28/2016. My insurance required a 6 month supervised weight loss period, but because I had been seeing my PCP for some other issues monthly and he was weighing me and discussing my weight, that counted toward 6 months.

Morning! Super busy again. Ahh. I got my new car last night--she is a dream boat! I'll try to remember to take pics later today and post tomorrow.
QOTD: I will be 10 years post op in October! My process at the time was super quick. I inquired went to the info session and was approved immediately. No hoops to jump through. I could have had it done in under 3 months from my first inquiry but it didn't fit with my work schedule so I waiting a few extra months. It was good to have the time to research and read. It really helped me be successful long term.
I haven't put a menu into MFP yet. I was running out the door after having one of those mornings when I tried on literally everything I own and decided I looked fat. It took me like an hour to get dressed today and now my entire closet is on a pile on a chair. Ugh.
B: coffee and pork rinds (breakfast of champions!)
S: cheese and salami
L: quest protein bar
