thanks for sharing this, Karen. I've known all along that this is really common, but I was convinced it was never going to happen to *me*, since I've weighed, measured, and logged my food all along. Ha! It happened anyway. I'll drop down to about 1500 calories for a couple of weeks and see what happens. I'd much rather be back down in the low 140s than the high 140s. I felt better, plus the high 140s is too close to 150 for my taste. I never want to be over 150 again!

We are in NYC and leave tomm evening. Really exciting stuff. Had some great visits with NYMOM and so far have done so so much walking!! today we are going to central park, empire, and top of the rock. tomm i think MOMA/Met.

Accountability: I did have a few M&M's from M&M world and pizza toppings as well as some crust yesterday. It was the best pizza I have ever had and don't regret that.

I have run out of protein bars to have as supplemental (which is probably a good thing) and no fridge in the room so i will move to street meats to make up the difference I think.

no clue on food but having coffee now.

QOTD: I turn on my light via my app on my phone, play a few rounds of candy crush, then as I'b about to pass out, turn off the light. before that I brush my teeth.

Daisy,

so glad you are back missed having you on the boards regularly!

Happy Tuesday! The sun is out, it is warming up and I already walked with the neighborhood group.

QOTD: I had several years of insomnia after DD died, so I am strictly routine for bedtime: Snack 1.5-2 hours prior to bed; TV (nothing disturbing****il bedtime; no in-depth conversations in the last hour before bed; PJs on and teeth brushed; in bed with lights out and earplugs in reading on my lighted kindle until I fall asleep. If anything disrupts this routine I have a tough time falling asleep. Also, room must be very dark and fairly cool; I try to go to bed and get up at the same time every day, especially getting up even if I went to bed late or had insomnia the prior night.

1 year, 9 months post-op

B: eggs, cottage cheese and Canadian bacon

L: tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

D: grilled chicken and salad

S: Halo top ice cream, nut thins and hummus

Thanks! It doesn't always work (I had 2 difficult nights in the last week), but it usually does. I enjoyed reading your routine!

Good Morning! Things are trucking right along, my hubby is still fighting the crud but from what we are hearing/reading this strain just holds on for weeks. I am still pretty congested here and there but what can ya do?

I will say that those cookies sound amazing.

Accountability: Too many almonds and a pack of Cheez-Its were added in the afternoon and I had a banana with my yogurt that I hadn't planned. Time to knuckle down.

QOTD: Right before bed- I take out my contacts, wash my face, floss and brush my teeth. When I get home from work is when I pack all my clothes (gym and work) and foods for the next day.

Time since surgery: 3 years 4 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots

S: Salami, Carbmaster yogurt, and mixed nuts
