Thoughts to hubby on a speedy recovery!
Your routine brought me back to my pre-op routine! I am happy to say that I am no longer on insulin o metformin! While not a guarantee, I am sure you will see a decrease or elimination of your meds once you are post op!

Good morning Daisy and menu crew! Two days in a row Daisy, you are on a roll!
Accountability was good, zero cheats.
QOTD - Do not laugh as I am silly. I grab a bone for the dog and she runs into our bedroom and gets on her bed as this is where she eats her bone. Joddie and I watch some TV and when Bethany is done with her bone she will jump on our bed and snuggle with Joddie and I. Ryley will come in and get Bethany as she sleeps in his room and then it is lights out, I always snuggle up to Joddie and ask her silly questions, are we in love? are you my baby?.....every night....LOL.......I am a silly guy , what can I say....LOL...
Menu - still following my process with the trainer/nutritionist. One drink the trainer has me drink in the morning is 2 cups of water with a 1/2 of fresh lemon and 2 tbsp of organic apple cider. improves digestion?
Exercise - I am out of my comfort zone and that is fine. I was embarassed at my lack of strength doing press exercises so I got up at 4 am and went to the gym this morning, I have never done that, probably my last time....LOL
Stay healthy my friends.

Mornin'!
well, I'm starting to agree that my malabsorption period is over. Boo. I've been doing very well for the last several days calorie-wise, yet my weight is still in the 146-148 range (back up to 148 this morning - WTH??? I was perfect yesterday!!). This must be the rebound weight most people have after hitting bottom. There is certainly nothing wrong with this weight as it's still within a normal BMI range, but I don't like it. The last few days I've been starting to feel like I did back when I was SMO and had gained 10 lbs....as in GUILTY....only there's really no need to feel guilty because I'm not doing anything wrong this time, and my weight is fine. It's just that I'm not happy with it. So I'm going to have to cut back on calories. Double boo.
Accountability - as mentioned above, it was fine.
QOTD: Do my physical therapy exercises, take my iron and vitamin C, brush my teeth. This is about an hour before bed. Then I crawl into bed and either read or play on my laptop until I'm ready to fall asleep. Last thing I do is turn on my radio...softly (NPR/BBC)...and turn out the light
