The dreaded weight gain
Hey Karen :)
It's so true... Right now it seems more like one food choice at a time rather than one day at a time !!

Awe. You did not "blow" anything. Be kind to yourself. You can do this. Look at all the weight you have kept off. Be proud of that and be determined to lose the rest.

Thanks everyone !! Even under bad cir****tances... It's good to be back
I just have to make sure that I continue to check in periodically after school starts again in a couple of weeks, which is why I dropped off the planet two years ago lol

Stuff happens, life happens.
I had some regain. I stopped it at 25 lbs above my personal goal. And lost that. It took me a long time to lose the regain. So frustrating. I think to be able to have motivation long term - is the key. I had to admit to myself that I am not a "normal" person who can eat SAD and remain at goal
SAD= Standard American Diet
I have to make drastic choices, stop eating a whole group of foods (grains, starchy veggies, most fruits, and... alcohol) and limit my qties, to lose my regain and maintain.
It is hard. But doable. Good luck !!!

Welcome back! Sorry you felt embarrassed to come back. In my opinion there is no one else on this planet that gets what you are going through than those of us who have had WLS.
Just wanted to say good job on the 2.5 lbs down already and wishing you continued success!
Please stick around!
