Hello Everyone,
QOTD: My husband has been eating my way prior to my surgery. He lost weight a few years ago and that actually helped to inspire me. My daughter is now living with us again and I started making carbs with dinner and she told me recently not to cause she doesn't need them either.
Accountability: Did well yesterday being home alone in the storm clean up but ended up starting a knitting project that kept me right.
B: coffee and premier protein
L: 2 volpi rolls and 2 babybels
D: Sirloin

Good morning, menu crew! Last night I stayed up super late to clean and organize (still have so much more to do!), I feel like if I can get my surrounding spaces more orderly then I will be able to feel like my head is clearer. Today is my grandma's 80th birthday and she's been in the hospital since the day after Christmas so my family is planning to do a small gathering in her room to celebrate. We are postponing the big party until she's feeling better. Right now she's going in the upward direction so crossing my fingers that she'll get to go home soon!.. Still can't believe the crazy weather everyone is having. It's 23 degrees here with light flurries right now. I feel so bad for everyone dealing with all those storms and crazy temperatures in their area - especially places that are not used to snow! We have winter 6 out of 12 months here but if I wasn't used to it I can't even imagine what that'd be like. Stay safe and warm out there, you guys!
qotd: that's a tough one. My hubby is just as much of a food addict as me so I haven't rubbed off on him in that way (which makes it that much harder for me to stay on track when the only other person you live with is eating a pint of Ben and Jerry's in one sitting etc.).. I will say that since I've been losing the weight and working out more that he has followed in that direction. He hates cardio so he only lifts weights but that's something that he's never really done with any kind of consistency since we've been together so that's a plus.
B- protein milk with 1/3 pb panda puffs - not the best choice.. I know :(
l- hopefully something that's pure protein and nothing else.
D- not sure. Today is gonna be a little difficult since we're pulling together a mini birthday party and I don't know how that's gonna go. Coordinating with people can sometimes feel like chasing helium balloons hahaha
v- patches, oral iron and d
e- running on treadmill
hope everyone is having a good Saturday!
