I will definitely join in on the CAMAW! I was planning to start by now but I didn't follow through. When were you thinking of starting?

Good Morning Fellow Menu Peeps,

We got about 8" of snow on Wednesday night and with the current temps it doesn't look like melting will occur before Sunday.

Am teleworking today again and DH is on leave (and VERY bored). He is a really active guy and always seems to be working on some type of project - I can tell he is developing a bad case of cabin fever. Please pray that I don't put him in a choke hold today!

QOTD: I define success with WLS as a return to good health. I'm approaching the 100 lb mark of weight loss and (statistically anyway) I've added years to my projected lifespan. Other than Nexium for reflux, I don't take any medications (prior to WLS I was taking 4 meds daily).

Menu:

B: Scrambled egg with cheese

L: White chili

S: Turkey roll up

D: Probably more chili, since I've made enough to feed my neighborhood

Have a great day and stay warm!

Good Morning!! Soooo cold outside!!

QOTD: I think maintenance after reaching goal would be success. That said, fluctuation should be expected. I have not YET reached goal, so my thoughts may change once I'm there...

one year, 4 months out.

B: Protein coffee, scramble w/turkey pepperoni

L: chicken salad

D: porkchop

S:??

Good morning!

It's -8 F at 8:00 am out here in the Upper Midwest, but thankfully, still no snow (other than the little bit that's been on the ground for a few days). Looking forward to the warm-up on Sunday...

down 2 lbs this morning (back to 146). YAY! I was *very* backed up ****il last night). I have been taking a capful of Miralax, plus some magnesium, every day for months, but this isn't doing it anymore. It's not just the last couple of days, this has become a pattern. I'll bump up the magnesium for sure, but I'll also ask my PCP about it when I'm in there for my annual physical next week. I know they have prescription drugs for such things - although maybe the increased magnesium will do the trick. I hope.

2 years 7 months out:

B: plain Greek yogurt with added protein and 1 T Crio Bru grounds

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax vanilla latte shake

L: cottage cheese

AS: raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip or celery sticks with peanut butter

D: not sure - maybe meatballs or a turkey burger patty plus cauliflower cheese soup

maybe a piece of crustless protein pumpkin pie this evening

I've posted this before, but this is my current staff picture

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family,

Today is Saralisa's Birthday! I'm so excited!

It's supposed to be slightly less cold here in Nebraska today. At least not the sub-zero temperatures we have been having.

QOTD: Continuing to eat healthy and keeping the weight off and continuing to walk daily (when the weather allows). My health is SO much better now that I have lost 140 lbs.

Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 69, Calories - 1,160, Carbs - 105.

B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

L: chili

D: I may take Saralisa out to eat somewhere for her Birthday, but will choose wisely.

S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt

E: walking Blossom around the subdivision or riding exercise bike depending on the weather

Photos: This is a photo blanket that my brother and Sister-in-law made for us for Christmas. I just LOVE it! They even included pictures of Buddy (the black dog) and Dolly (lower right), who have passed away, but are still very much in our hearts. Also including a picture of Saralisa and me. People often say we look alike. What a great compliment to me!

Have a wonderful day everyone and stay warm!

~ Karen
