Well, it's a a little warmer today, but still very cold for SC plus snow predicted for the coast. I doubt I see anything at my house and I'm ok with that. Like watching it snow, but don't like driving in it

QOTD: I grew up in Nebraska so I've seen plenty of snow and had to walk to school in it. Till this day I can still feels chapped legs from snow getting into my snow boots! Making snow forts was always fun. Though why we would play house in the snow is beyond my adult mind, lol.

B-hot tea with half and half, pita bread, almonds.

MS-skinny hot chocolate

L-lettuce wedge, cucumber, tomato, tuna

AS-unsweetened applesauce

D-fellowship meal at church, but will make wise choices

Good morning- I did post today but then saw JB had done it so i deleted mine but didn't have time to answer here. Tomorrow morning I will check first! :) So that's why I'm late. :) :)

QOTD - I don't ever remember having a snow day. We lived right across from the school so that may have been why. I remember the day I applied for my first job in insurance. We had a massive snow storm but the buses were running and I had said that I would drop off my resume that day. I did, and they were so impressed, it really helped me to get the job. It's been so cold here! I am happy to report that we are supposed to get slightly warmer temps after Saturday though.

Accountability was AWESOME yesterday! I did great - no cheating at all, but I didn't quite get enough water in. I'm working on that today.

I packed breakfast and lunch today! So things are getting better.

B: Omelette- caramelized onions and mushrooms with melted brie- I made it yesterday and had extra filling left so made another one today and it's so good. I love brie and we had some left from Christmas

L: Kelly's egg salad

D: Spaghetti - I'm going to use some veggie noodles we have left over.

S: Greek yogurt with salted caramel skinny syrup

Water and vitamins on track and going to work on meeting my step goal - it's only a measly 6000 steps but with a sedentary job, it's challenging to meet it at times.

My coworker is from Toronto and she says she has never ever had a snow day. We closed our office tomorrow and she is laughing at all of us because of it...

Morning everyone,

I got back yesterday afternoon from my trip. Thought I gained a lot of weight but actually lost a pound from two weeks ago. A lot restaurants and eating junk food. I had fun but got a cold. Baby betty is doing better. Her stomach wasn't leaking so their feeding her now through a tube plus they saw more esophagus attached to the stomach. Now they're waiting on the surgeon to get back from vacation to see what the next step of what needs to be done.

I felt bad or my friend, her dil had to have a c section last Thursday because the amniotic fluid was too low so she wasn't there for either birth of her grand children. He is good and healthy.

QOTD had to wait for the list of schools and ours was last. Enjoy the day with friends playing outside, king of the mountain , digging snow tunnel , ice skating and sledding.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp Apple

D chicken sausage and some kind of vegetable

Good morning - on schedule here, accountability is spot on. Very cold in the Northeast and going to get colder this evening. It is crazy when you go to a Hockey rink and it is much warmer inside the hockey rink than outdoors.

QOTD - I was a last minute riser, normally slept through snow days. Did not seem we had them as often as they do today, liability seems to be more of a concern today than when I was a kid. One thing my buddies and I would do was to gather our shovels and shovel driveways and sidewalks for $$$$. We would pool our earnings and grab pizza or lunch.....we had fun doing it.

B - Quest bar

S - hard boiled egg and berries

L - homemmade beef barley soup. ( made with prime rib I might add)

S - oikos greek yogurt and cheese stick.

D - burger - no bun.

S - skinny popcorn

Morning Menu Crew!

So glad it's Wednesday... I'm exhausted and really need some down time this weekend.

QOTD: While I was born in PA, and I'm sure we had snow days, I was 9 when we moved to Houston, so no real memories of any snow days. I do remember Hurricane days though! Those though were usually determined days in advance, so there wasn't much in the way of watching the TV/radio to see if we were closed...

Accountability: Spot on yesterday! I even skipped dinner because I had too much going on with my daughter... I did have a pot of decaf though instead of dinner.

The scale rewarded me by going from 144.4 down to 142.8 this morning. Obviously some of this is water weight, but I doubt I'll get back to 137 in a week. I just don't retain that much water... but I am happy with the movement, and determined to get back to my happy place.

Plans for the day: Brought 8 ounces of fresh ham, but there's a lot of fat in the baggie, so I am thinking it's closer to 7 ounces... I am having half of it as we speak for breakfast. The other part will be my snack before I leave the office. Lunch is 3.5 ounces of meaty ricotta bake. Dinner will likely be a brat, no bun and a couple of T of cottage cheese.
