Mornin' All!

continued zero-ish temps here in Wisconsin, but hardly any snow (although compared to a lot of other wintery locales, Wisconsin doesn't get all that much snow - or at least we don't here in south central Wisconsin. The natives think they do, but we got WAY more snow when I lived in northern Ohio! We're on the wrong side of the Great Lakes here (or the right side, depending on your perspective...). Anyway, there's a dusting this morning, but nothing much in the forecast - just continued crazy cold temps for the next 2 or 3 days. Sorry to hear you're headed for a big snowstorm on the east coast. UGH!!

accountability was good yesterday, but my weight is really up. I'm pretty sure it's sodium since the last 2 or 3 days have been fine calorie-wise. Plus I'm feeling really bloated this morning, which usually means water weight...

QOTD: as mentioned above, we got a crap ton of snow when I lived in northern Ohio. I remember lying in bed on snowy mornings waiting for my school district to be announced. When it was - OH JOY!!! I don't really remember what we did on snow days, though. If it was super cold, I'm sure we just stayed in and watched TV. But doing anything was preferable to going to school!

speaking of going to school, today is my first day back to work after 10 days off. Boo! But I guess I'm sort of ready. Plus this is likely to be my LAST SEMESTER HERE!! YAY!!!

2 years 7 months out (as of today!)

B: plain Greek yogurt with 1 T tahini and 1 T of raspberry preserves mixed in

MS: coffee with half & half, peach melba protein/Miralax shake

L: chicken salad made with Greek yogurt in a Flat Out wrap

AS: raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip or a couple of celery sticks with peanut butter

D: chili

maybe a piece of crustless protein pumpkin "pie" later

yes we do!! I'll start one as soon as I figure out my last day. At first I was thinking the end of the fiscal year (June 30), but then part of me thinks I should just stay for the rest of the summer since it's such a slow time for us. I don't really mind working in the summer at all. It might be nice to leave right before the bomb drops!!

Finally seem to be getting back to normal. I did manage to take Lily around the block yesterday and did 2 miles on the treadmill a bit slower than normal. This morning its 19 here so we will bundle up and head out in a minute and go however far she will walk. I'll try my best to get 4 miles in total. QOTD snow days were rare in our area but if we had them my sister and I would build snow forts with the other kids in the trailer park. Accountability was good yesterday as food still does not interest me. Post op 5 years 4 months and weight down at 117.4 but still good. Heres the food plan for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chicken broth with meat and veggies D 31/2 oz pork chop if tolerated if not more soup S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added strawberry jam or pumpkin butter. Have a great day everyone and make smart choices one choice at a time!
