What's on your WEDNESDAY menu RNYers?
Good morning! Yesterday was not as good as I wanted with accountability, I ate 1/2 of a reece cup Christmas tree, but it was better than I have been doing.
QOTD: loved snow days as a kid. We mostly went sledding and made snow cream. I do remember one year skating on the creek by our house, we live in southern Indiana, so it's rarely sustained temps low enough to skate on a pond or creek, but it is right now! We watched tv for our school to be closed, now the text alerts are super handy but you can oftentimes see it on the scrolling news quicker than the text goes out.

My mom makes hers with sweetened condensed milk, sugar, vanilla extract and snow. It is to die for.

Liz, I just texted my mom and here are her instructions.
Put about 1/3 can of sweetened condensed milk in a bowl. Freeze until crunchy. Add 1 Tbsp of sugar and 1 tsp of flavoring (vanilla, almond, peppermint) if desired. Then stir in fresh clean snow until consistency desired. Serve with nuts, chocolates or fruit.
Now you know the slippery slope of snow isn't just for skiers.
LOL (slippery slope)! I definitely never heard of it (even under another name).
