What's on your TUESDAY menu RNYers?
on 1/2/18 6:39 am
Yes, Susie lives up to my snark-o-meter. She is an awesome character!
Good morning! Thanks for starting us out Julia. I did sleep in this morning. My last day off. My kids gave me an electric throw for Christmas and it has been my best friend through this cold snap.
QOTD: I'm not sure. I usually like cop shows but I can't picture hanging out with them. I really like Designated Survivor and I could picture hanging out with them at the White House (even though I'm Canadian lol!). As a kid I too love Little House on the Prairie or the Waltons. I could absolutely have spent some time on Walton's mountain!
Accountability - yesterday was my last day of eating crap. Back on track today - and going to do CAMAW for a few days to break the carb addiction.
Menu:
Breakfast: Scrambled Egg with cheese
L: Greek yogurt with salted caramel syrup and meat. I have to check what's in the fridge.
D: We are having a roast of moose meat tonight. My mom brought it back from Newfoundland for me from my uncle. I will be cooking it in the instant pot and I can't wait.
Well I should crawl out of bed and get moving on my day. I have lots of things to do today in order to stay on track with my goals. One thing is meal planning - I've never been great at it but I'm determined to give it a really good try.
Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Still feeling puny and not a fan of food at all here today. However I did get up and get real clothes on because I have some errands I must run with hubby today. He'll drive so all I have to do is ride along. Temps here are way too cold for Lily and I to walk outside(-6 right now) but if it gets a bit better this afternoon we'll at least walk ariund the block. She has turned into a wrecking crew with having to be inside so much and has knocked anything she can get her nose on to the floor and played with it. Examples of things I took from her yesterday:4 gloves,tv remote, dvr remote, sunglasses,a clementine,a comb and several scarves. Hubby's comment:"Now I understand why you walk her so much!" QOTD Id love to live with the Little House on the Prairie people. One of my favorite trip stops that wasn't even planned was seeing Louisa Mae Alcott's house(actually 2 houses) in the hills of Missouri. It's where she ended out her life and the newer of the two was built with money from her daughter who was also a writer. Post op 5 years 4 months and weight low at 117.4 today due to the low food intake of the past few days. Heres the plan for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chicken broth with chicken and veggies D 3 oz pork chop maybe if I can stomach it if not more broth with veggies and chicken. Lots of coffee, herbal tea and beverages too. I'd like to do at least 30 minutes on the treadmill at some point too. Have a great day all and make some smart choices that head you toward your goals!
Karen, sorry that you are still feeling bad. Take care and get in some extra rest. I wondered how Lily was doing not getting her exercise. Sounds like she needs to go around the block.
