What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?
Good morning! 1 day at work and it's already Thursday! How awesome is that? It is so cold out! My kids gave me a heated throw for Christmas and I've been giving that thing LOTS of use!
QOTD: Do you keep a journal? I have sporadically kept a journal in the past but before Christmas I ordered the Push Journal from Chalene Johnson and it's all about goal setting. I'm giving it a try and hoping to accomplish some of the goals I have for myself for 2018.
Accountability- still not good and I've got to rein it in. Tonight some of the more tempting items will be heading in to the trash and I will be doing a week of CAMAW next week. Have to get these carbs out of my system and it's past time I get back on track!
Menu:
B: Protein Shake and decaf coffee
L: Protein choice from cafeteria
D: Leftover turkey I think.
One of my goals is to start meal planning- no more lunches from the cafeteria and wondering what dinner will be.
Vitamins and water will be on track today.

Good morning Teena and menu folks!
I am enjoying my days off and I've gotten a few things accomplished. Today looks like it will include relaxation and chores. I am up and have already had my coffee and breakfast. In about an hour, I will head to the pool for my hour's swim. Then I am using my Christmas gift card and getting a massage. I haven't had one for quite a while and it will be nice to relax. Then I plan to come home and start in on my major house cleaning. I'd like to get the house in shape for the new year. I have let it get sloppy around the edges and I would feel better if it was more clean and organized. I also have a couple dozen cookies that I made yesterday and that need to be decorated. Then I will pack them up to take to work on Tuesday and Wednesday. Once they are packaged they are off limits and I won't be as tempted to eat them.
QOTD: I journaled almost every day while I was in the losing phase. Since I met goal, I haven't really kept up with it. Journaling was really helpful and I might try getting back to it. It helps me with reflecting and processing.
Accountability: still having a few cookies and I'm trying to get all of the treats packaged up and out of the house so I can get back on plan. I have really enjoyed the baking, but I need to make the journey from baking to out of the house more rapid next time.

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple
Dinner: beef roast, baby carrots
Exercise: 1 hour of swimming

Hi all. Ugh I am sick sick sick. I have a bad cold and no voice. Yuck. I hate being sick on vacation--it feels like a cruel trick!
QOTD: Nope. I journaled all though my youth, but quit sometime in my 20s.
Accountability: My day yesterday turned out to be very different than I expected so the menu was out the window, but I did okay.
Today I think I am just sticking to tea and soup.
JB, I'm sorry that you are sick. Take gentle care and rest and drink your fluids. Hopefully you will mend quickly.

Sorry you are sick! I always wonder if the reason people get sick so much when on vacation is that their body lets it's guard down once relaxed? Feel better soon!
