What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
I'm impressed that you tracked it all JB. I still struggle with tracking bad days, I usually feel a guilt trip the following morning and go back and add the bad in. Off today, Headed to the mall in a few. The boys want to look for some things they didn't get/accessories/exchange. No other plans- not cooking, we're on leftovers autopilot.
qotd: one thing I'm excited about trying is a new year goal I have. I call it 'treat of the month'. Every month in 2018 I've declared a different treat focus. Rule is, I can't have the treat outside of the month it's 'featured' in. January is crunch/salty, February is solid chocolate, March, candy etc. still ironing out the details but I wanted to shoot for a longer term nutrition based goal.
203.5 today, 2.7 Years out
m1: Ham 4oz 1 egg, cinnamon raisin toast slice
m2-4: roast beef, yams, cheese stick, baked oatmeal,

You are so good at setting and sticking to goals. I couldn't do it...
I would never be able to be moderate enough during the month, and then once the flood gates were opened, I don't know if I could stop in the following months. You are a better person than me if you can stick to it!
I got the idea when I had a short term 'no candy till my birthday' goal. It worked so well I decided to expand on it. If I know I can have something at somepoint, I'm ok with doing w/o till the time comes. This is much longer term though. And I haven't figured out how moderation during that 'featured' month will work- I'll figure something. I need to learn I don't need everything all the time, which is what the past 2-3 months have been for me.
I'm starting on Thursday, the 28th the anniversary date of my surgery.

Good morning and thank you for starting us out JB. It's a holiday here and I am just waking up.
QOTD: I just signed up to be a Pampered Chef consultant so I'm excited to learn all about that. Especially the online side of things with live stream videos and so on.
Accountability: I didn't track yesterday so I'm not sure how I did but today I will be tracking and protein forward.
Having said that I have no idea what I'm eating today. I'm still in bed - thinking maybe an omelette for breakfast and leftover turkey for lunch. The kids want to go Voxing Day shopping and I have to drive my dad somewhere so not sure what the dinner menu will be.
Have a great day everyone!

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning menu peeps from the frigid cornfields of Illinois. It is a miserable 7 degrees here so Lily and I cut our walk short and just did 2 miles. I will do the other 2 miles on the stinking treadmill in a bit. If it warms up a bit I'll do another mile outside this afternoon. My eating was a bit better yesterday at the inlaws as I managed to stay away from the crackers and had veggies with dip instead. Glad all that is over and I'mback home where I have more control over what food is here. I did have 1/2 waffle with peanut butter yesterday. It had been over 5 years since I'd had one and sadly is was as good as I remembered. Luckily there is no wafflemaker in my house! QOTD I want to get better at shooting. I took a concealed carry class so know the basics but want to practice and work with a revolver, rifle and shotgun. My eventual goal is cowboy shooting with hubby but I need to be much more confident before that happens. Post op 5 years 4 months weight at 120 today. Yuck! Here's the food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey with cheese 3 baby carrots D 31/2 oz grilled pork chop 1/2 c green beans S 5 oz cottage cheese with 1 T no sugar added blackberry jam. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!
I did it--the stinking treadmill that is. It had been forever since I stepped on it. I was amazed at how much easier it is now than the last time 3 months ago. I think that's an NSV! I did another 2.14 miles for a total of 4.14 miles so far today. And a 4.4 mph pace was very doable. It felt great. I still dislike the treadmill though--it's just boring.
I'm with you on calling it a "stinking treadmill"! Absolutely boring when walking outside is so nice (but not when it is that cold). It is supposed to be really cold here through the rest of our stay too!
