Good morning everyone! I hope you all had an awesome holiday if you celebrated, yesterday. I had a lovely day with family visiting us. Wonderful company and such generous gift giving. Grim is an incredibly talented woodworker and he made me the most beautiful handmade things. I am so lucky.
Not going to lie... I ate all kinds of crap. I was honest with myself and I added it all up in MFP and the grand total was: CALORIES: 2440, PROTEIN: 55, CARB: 296 (yikes). Today is a new day... I am committed to eating low carb and protein forward, again today.
QOTD: Do have something new you are excited to learn/try? I am going to learn how to cane a chair! We are also going to take a glassblowing class. I love being artsy-craftsy!

Handmade wood gifts! Lucky you! I was probably about where you were yesterday on Christmas Eve, but I stopped tracking! I'm trying to be mindful through additional celebrations with friends and family this week.
QOTD: I'd like to relearn Backgammon if I determine that DH can handle it. I played as a kid and I remember really enjoying it. I did get some other board games to play with DH for Christmas, so if not that game I will relearn something else.

QOTD: Learning to sew properly is on my "to do" listing this year. Last year I took some advanced jewelry making classes, learned how to solder and make sterling silver jewelry. My John took a few glassblowing classes and now has everything to make beads for me to use in the jewelry making.
Yesterday was a crap fillled eating day. Today will be the last day of this and the rest will all be given to the chickens or the garbage can. Can't keep having that in the house.

I wasn't going to admit to my horrible eating yesterday, but since JB was so brave and honest and admitted to her totals, I will, too. Protein - a measley 37, Calories - 1,673, Carbs - a whopping 225! YIKES!

QOTD: I would love to learn to crochet. Not sure if my daughter can teach me or not because she does it backwards or left-handed or something weird. She is an excellent crocheter, though. I would love to have a hobby to keep my hands busy!
