post op diet question
Did your nutritionist or surgeon give you guidelines on how many grams of protein, sugar, carbs, etc to look for? As long as its high in protein and low in sugar its probably fine. Like the person above said, maybe wait for a veteran to answer. mine is just a guess

Unjury is very high quality. Unless your doc has an issue with that particular flavor based on color, I don't see why not.
Reddish colored things are sometimes discouraged around surgery because it might make it harder to diagnose a problem.
RNY and VSG eating plans are (or at least should be) identical.

i was given unjury protein drinks while in the hospital but found them difficult to get down.
In my case, it seemed as though what "tasted good" to me changed immediately after surgery. Protein drinks that I had loved in the year prior to surgery suddenly tasted vile and made me gag!
Word to the wise: buy small quantities of protein drinks, jello, other post surgery foods. Otherwise, you may end of with a pantry full of food that you can't/won't eat.
