What's on your Photo Friday menu RNYers?
Good morning and Happy Friday from a winter wonderland! We got about 3 inches of snow overnight and it's still coming down. Not the best day to be going in to work but I have to go to Ikea today so I'm heading in. Traffic doesn't look too bad.
QOTD: Do you like surprises? I mean food ones of course. I like them when I don't know anything about them. So if my husband was buying me something and didn't say a word to me about it I'd love it but if he told me he had something for me and kept talking about it it would drive me crazy. I would still love it of course but I'd really want to know what it is.
Accountability was good yesterday.
Menu: Breakfast: Bacon and 1 egg from cafeteria
Lunch: something from Ikea if the restaurant isn't crazy busy
Dinner : I'm not sure what we're having today
Exercise will be all the running around I have to do today.

OMG, I have nothing to do today. Like literally nothing! Is it possible that I have already run out of things to do and still have 11 more days off?
I guess I will be decorating a crap ton of cookies for the holiday parties we are going to. God give me the strength not to eat them all (or any for that matter!)... Here are some of the cookies I made for my work friends, last week. I am enjoying learning how to decorate...it's fulfilling a creative outlet :)
QOTD: I was just telling Grim yesterday that I used to be a "peeker" when it came to Christmas presents, but now I prefer to be surprised. I am not sure that translates to food, but only because I like to be in charge of my menu.

i saved a ton on pintrest as I've never make royal icing ever or tried. not sure I will get to it this season.
i am making about 4 kinds of cupcakes for christmas day for family. Oreo brownie, mint chocolate chip, peanut butter chocolate and some yellow cake with milk chocolate frosting for sister specifically. it is the only cake she likes so i told her I would do it.
