I've seen so much bad information from PCPs, surgeons, nurses, and nutritionists that it doesn't surprise me in the least. For instance, most docs still give out prescriptions for D2, which is just about useless.

A search on Amazon for Dry Vitamin A brought back a couple of hundred choices. It's just not at all difficult to find good alternatives these days.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

I'm basically going to ignore my PCP's concern. My surgeon said it's ok, and that's what I'm going with.
