Teena

I misread your message and thought you said it was 'farty' today... lol

QOTD: NEVER been ice skating, really want to go. Maybe when we go to NYC next month- I'm just scared i will flip my ankle on the ice and not be able to walk!

Yesterday was work christmas party. I ate too much, although more 'on plan' items. It was a long lunch which makes it easier to overeat.

today will be lighter eating lots of water- we will be eating out lunch today due to house inspector coming out. wish us luck!!

working remotely half the day and off the rest - YAY! Christmas shopping officially done as of last night when I finally figured out what to get my mom, and I ordered it online. Thank God that's done..

Weight finally below 148 this morning (147.4). Hope this continues!! I was so relieved to finally see a drop! Accountability was good yesterday except for the Christmas cookie I had at work - although I was able to offset the calories. I had a really hard time with the sugar in it, though. I do eat sweet things, but evidently they're smaller or the "sugar" is artificial sweetener. This was one of those bigger, bakery cookies. Not sure if I was having a major sugar buzz or it might have been RH, but not doing that again. A "Chips Ahoy" size cookie I can handle, but not that, evidently...(although this is probably a good thing).

yoga class in an hour, then meeting DH for coffee so we can both work. Then a couple of errands this afternoon, hair cut at 3:45. Should probably try to work on a couple of Christmas cards, too. It's supposed to snow later on today (1-2"), so I want to get everything done before that.

QOTD: I loved ice skating as a kid - both outdoor winter skating and indoor rink skating. I went almost every day and took lessons at one point. At age 10, my dream was to become an Olympic figure skater. However, after a bloody skating accident, my dreams were dashed. I think I maybe went twice after that (outdoor only). Now, I doubt I could stand up on them - and between my somewhat unstable right hip joint and my bad ankle, I wouldn't even try. :-(

2 years 6 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 1 T Crio Bru grounds mixed in and 1 T cherry preserves

MS: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax vanilla chai tea latte shake

L: not sure - maybe cottage cheese??

AS: raw veggies with Greek yogurt dip

D: either Michigan salad or pork/veggie Teriyaki stir fry (no rice)

maybe another yogurt or protein pumpkin pie this evening

ex: yoga

Hello Teena and menu folks. I am heading into the New year with a new outlook, rather than let the negative bother me, I am going to ignore the negative and focus on the positive. Shopping is done, wrapping for the kids and everyone else is done, now I need to wrap all of the gifts for my Wife and I will be done.

QOTD - I was skating by the age of 3, I still enjoy it. I still play hockey once a week and I officiate youth games. Hockey has always been a part of my life, my youngest son is a senior and he will be done playing competitively after this season.
