What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
Good morning! Finally, feel like I can take a break to post. These past few days have been a challenge to stay on track but not totally wreaking things, so for that I'm glad.
QOTD: My word IS " Revealing". Since my decision to pursue WLS, I have learned a lot about myself. Some good and some not so much. I'm going to continue working on the "not so much" so next year will be an awesome year!
I am hosting my family for Christmas dinner and think we need to play some games or do something other than sit around talking (part of working on the "not so much") My family is probably going to balk at this attempt, but since I'm the oldest, shouldn't they do what I say?hehehe. Any ham suggestions? I saw the saran wrap ball game and I think I'm going to do that.

The game that my family loves to play is called Traveling Sheets of Paper. Give everyone a small stack of paper - if there are ten people playing, you need five sheets (since you use front and back). Everyone starts by drawing a picture. They can draw anything. They can draw a stick figure man on a mountain, a bird flying over an elephant...but it shouldn't be so simple like "a banana". Give people maybe 30 seconds. They, they pass it to the right, and that person flips it over and writes the phrase that describes the picture. After 30 seconds, pass the stack to the right, and that person reads the phrase and then DRAWS what they read on the next paper. The next person writes a phrase of what picture they think they are looking at. By the time it gets back to the original person, you each go through showing what you drew, then what was written, then what was drawn and so on...it's HILARIOUS. It's seriously so funny to see people's drawing skills and what they think they see...it's very funny and not political LOL so it's fun for family time :)

Now just trying to navigate all the crap food at work and plan for the holidays. Good news with my labs:

L:zupa toscana made with turkey sausage
S:2 slices of turkey and 1 slice of swiss
