Hot hands in SoCal is pretty extreme!

I definitely find that I don't mind hot weather as much as I used to and I'm headed to the Equator in about 10 days. Looking forward to that overhead sun for sure.

Hi Eggface! I, too, live in So Cal, and I thank whomever out loud every night when I climb into bed and bury my frozen toes into my little electric heating pad.

Yes, I'm spending Christmas is FL with my parents. I am so looking forward to the warmth but I'm confused about what to pack now. I have a feeling I'm going to need heavier clothes thsn I used to. LOL

Heavy clothes for Florida.... that is rough.

I was always cold when I was fat. Now that I'm down 100#, I'm absolutely freezing all the time. I wear appropriate clothes for northeastern Ohio winters, live right on Lake Erie. I have Baffin Artic winter boots. Warm coats and long Johns. I'm always cold.

I had to google those boots...was curious. They look pretty hardcore.

Honestly all these replies have definitely added some perspective. It's 54 Fahrenheit right now. I should not be complaining.
