Good morning OH! I listened to Christmas music on the way in today and have it on now too. It's helping with my Christmas spirit. I finished wrapping the Christmas gifts last night and they look awesome under the tree. I still have more shopping to do, I'm far from done, but I'm feeling accomplished. Rob has made several batches of Christmas cookies and while they look awesome, they are not tempting me in the least - winning! Going to visit my dad today and bringing some Christmas decorations for his room. I wonder if he even knows it's Christmastime.
QOTD - I am truly thrilled that I bought my apple watch. While I am not yet using for the reason I bought it for tracking workouts. It has been a life saver when I forgot my actual phone as the watch works like a reg phone, though limited. Also when I recently left my ATM card at home. I was out with plans to shop at several stores out of town and it was my watch Apple pay and my Starbucks app to the rescue!
Accountability - great - no extra bites of anything - 163.3 down a little - good
b-coffee w/hc, HB eggs
l-chicken w/buffalo sauce
d-rotisserie chicken or eggs
It seems all I want to eat anymore is eggs, I could eat them all day, everyday.
v/l - on track
Have a great day1

Good morning! Menu: Pretty well the same as yesterday. Protein shake, oikos with a couple tbsp of oatmeal mixed in, soup, same oikos snack in the aft, and unknown supper. Accountability: I had a few of the 1" long swedish fish from my kids' snack bag. Not enough to make me feel ill, but I had a few. Which is weird because I have never liked them much.
This morning, I walked in after that dump of snow. That was an adventure. When the snow wasn't shin-deep it was knee deep for 5.5 km. Fun times. I didn't really mind though. I stayed upright so I'll call it a win. Walking through that is much harder, and I figure it burned a lot more calories. The walk home will hopefully see some cleared sidewalks.
QOTD: Especially the last week, I'm glad I bought a Sorel down-filled parka from our local thrift store. I still have a problem with the price because there was a different branded but similar coat (that didn't fit or I'd have bought it) RIGHT BESIDE IT for half the cost. I get that $75 is super cheap compared to retail, but that's not a retail store etc.....but I digest. Just doesn't seem right to value things differently in that environment. Anyway....breathe Carl.
I'm still glad I found a good winter parka because it's made all the difference with not having nearly the amount of natural insulation anymore.
Hoping to buy some snowshoes next time I'm at Costco. That's something I've been eyeing for a while and I'm well under the weight limit now. Can't wait.

Morning, my fellow RnYers! Happy Thursday!
Gradually I'm getting ready for Christmas! Mostly I'm still working hard on finishing orders and other tasks so I can just relax and enjoy the season.
The Thomas fire rages on, but the winds have been compliant over the past couple of days, which has helped. Still, things remain dangerous and the winds are expected to intensify again. I am fine and safe. Nevertheless, the risk remains very high for many. CalFire estimates this enormous fire won't be fully contained until January 7! I miss snow, and falling ash does not make a good substitute.
The favorite thing I ever spent money on has to be my two little Siamese kitties. They are everything and more I could ever have wanted from felines: smart, beautiful, very highly engaged with me, funny, affectionate. They are the best!
First: Tea with cashew milk, Protein drink
B: roast beef, mustard
L: BBQ pulled chicken

Wishing everyone a beautiful day!
Good afternoon,

Hi everyone,
Starting to feel real yucky with a cold coming on.

D: 2oz ground sirloin, 2 1/2oz chicken breast, 1/3C broccoli rabe
