What's on your Thursday menu RNYers?

Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!
QOTD: I'm so glad I adopted Blossom from the shelter! (I paid an adoption fee, so technically this was a "purchase"). She can be a pain sometimes (chewing things up), but we love her dearly and she is my daily walking companion. Another thing I'm so glad I bought: I won a coat on our local Dollar Auction site on Facebook for only $1! When I went to pick it up I discovered it was a GOOSE DOWN coat! I can't believe I lucked out and got a genuine goose down coat for only $1! SCORE!
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 69, Calories - 981, Carbs - 90.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: homemade chili
D: homemade chili
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I'm planning to work from a coffee shop this morning (hopefully I can stay all morning - usually I get fidgety after an hour or two and have to go back to my office). Lunch with a friend at 11:00, then sitting in on an interview at 2:00. Should be a quiet, relaxing day as long as no weird problems come up. Weight is still 148. Did fine calorie-wise yesterday. Lunch (yesterday) was a grilled chicken breast with coconut curry sauce and this Asian-style salad which was basically raw veggies (carrots, cabbage, red bell pepper) with sesame seeds and a sesame dressing. I'm guessing a lot of sodium?? Either that, or 1700 calories is now too many for me?? (it's been my maintenance level for the last year). I'll give it a few more days - 1700 kcal plus adding exercise back in (have gotten pretty slack on that), but if that doesn't work, I'll decrease my calories. This weight is probably good for me - and it's within my normal BMI range - but I really want to get back down to 140.
QOTD: My Instant Pot is one - I use it at least twice a week. I also bought some new steak knives last week that I use for everything and love (the last of my old set broke - but they were cheaply made. These new ones weren't all that expensive (mostly because they were heavily discounted, though), but they seem to be very well-made).
2 years 6 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt with blueberry sauce, 1/3 C Kashi Crunch granola
S: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax shake
L: not sure since I'm meeting a friend, and we haven't decided where yet. Something safe!
D: chicken & veggie fajita
probably another yogurt
ex: yes! Going to the gym tonight

I think I'm sensitive to sodium as well. I'm seeing a trend in what I eat and my weight... I need to watch the (yummy) salty stuff!

Dragging this morning. Had choir practice after church last night and couldn't come in late on Thursday like I normally do because I have to go to my PCP weigh in visit. Oh well.
QOTD: my best purchase was my memory foam bed. It is a few years old, but just as comfy as the day we got it.
Yesterday, I was a few calories over my goal and when I say a few, I mean 300!:( but today is a new day and another opportunity to do the right thing.
Have a great day!

I am exhausted physically and emotionally. Had a very full day yesterday and at night went back to hospice to sit with my sister's best friend/family friend. Her husband was there and then another friend of hers came who I had met the day before. Her husband went home, and she and I sat and talked and prayed and I think we both knew we were there for the duration. I have never been there before when someone passed, hard to explain, it was an honor and a privilege. Her husband and brother were very thankful she was not alone. Hospice was wonderful. Got to bed 3am, up at 8am.
QOTD: I debated not putting up a Christmas Tree this year, because of wrestling with it with the shoulder as well as not being able to spend it with my son and family. The day I got my brace off I was standing in Walmart and had an epiphany to buy a cheapo $39 Walmart tree, very lightweight easy to put up and I am glad I did. It may not last, but once decorated it looks good.
Accountability: Had a piece of the 'gift' Spinach Pie and baklava I made while at PT yesterday. They all loved it but the Spanakopita didn't taste as good made with frozen spinach. Baklava was the bomb. Ate it and survived to tell about it. :) Ate cheese, salami and crackers at hospice for dinner.
B: usual Latte and Crustless spinach quiche
L: Cottage cheese and strawberries
D: Chili I never made last night or Costco Chicken if I get to buy it. green beans
S: Greek yogurt, and ??? Still neeed food.
EX: Gym w/trainer, maybe. With the lack of sleep I may reschedule....
