Whoa! I also have the sore tongue! ...and admittedly a decrease (though not complete lack of) libido. I actually just bought some B12 spray on Gwen's suggestion because I keep getting mouth sores and this weird tongue thing.

Crazy! I've never heard anyone else talk about the tongue / mouth sores thing! Did the B12 help? I take B12 and my levels are really high, so I don't think that's it in my case.

If you ever find something that helps eliminate this issue PLEASE REPORT BACK! I'll do the same.

I literally just started. I got some B12 spray to try. I'll let you know.

It may not be in your head. Most of the US have a very low level of Zinc and mag. Zinc and Magnesium levels affect the male hormone levels esp If your levels are low or in low normal range. Boosting those have helped my husband. He takes 250mg of zinc daily and 400 of magneisum(different absorbtion issue) having low male hormones will cause the man boobs and he is trying hard to avoid havng another mamogram.

Unfortunately, while I have resolved the low testosterone issue, it did nothing to help my libido. It did resolve some other symptoms I was having (irritability, general muscle fatigue), but nothing for the 'ol sex drive.

And Good Lord, I finally got rid of my man boobs with the weight loss, the last thing I need to do is grow them back ;-)

My libido went (and is still) through the roof. It is amazing how much fun sex is when you can move around more.

I hate the skin, but my husband says he doesn't mind it so I have to take that at face value. However on occasion we will be doing "whatever" and I can feel/see jiggling and I'm totally taken out of the moment for a bit.

Speaking of skin, there is a lot more in the genital area than there used to be of course. It doesn't get in the way of sex so much, but it can make bike seats and certain clothing a little uncomfortable....

First, thank you so much for your reply. I have a follow-up if you don't mind. It's all right if you feel it's TMI and would rather not answer.

Do you feel the extra skin down there is a hindrance or not at all? Clothing, intimacy, etc?

I guess ... I think what I'm trying to ask and doing a poor job at trying to be graceful about it is: with less fat down there, does it still look as appealing to you now as it did before? Sorry, totally embarrassing question

Honestly the biggest issue I have with the floppy bits is on my bike, where stuff rubs and squishes and folds in on itself and is generally unhappy... a nice pair of bike shorts helps, but it's not a cure.

As for looking more appealing to me, I hate how it looks. But luckily I don't have to look at it much, he does. I envision him having to sift through yards of skin to find anything, and meanwhile he says with a grin that's a way over-exaggeration of the facts.

But FYI I have heard of people who have had their labia "tightened up" with plastic surgery after losing weight, so I suppose that's an option if you are really not happy with it (I don't think I'd go that far personally, but I am me, not you).

Hope that wasn't too much TMI in return lol!

Not TMI at all and again -- THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR ANSWERS!!! You have no idea how much I am thankful for you, your experiences and being open about it. I really do appreciate it.

I didn't know tightening your labia or removing loose skin down there was even an option or possible. For me, I guess it's really just waiting and seeing if I will want it depending on how bad it might be.

My biggest reason for having an LBL, besides the skin flopping around during exercise, is because clothing riding up my crotch is really getting in the way of everyday life for me. No matter what underwear, no matter what pants. Things are more 'open' now and the seam rubs and causes oversensitivity. I'm really hopeful that my LBL will help.
