What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning and welcomed me to Tuesday. A smoother morning for me today. Was hoping for a work from home day but we didn't really get enough snow for that.
It's my 11 month surgiversary! As of this morning I'm down to 165.7 and 128.9 lbs lost. My weightloss for this month was just under 3 lbs.
QOTD: I've been thinking about random acts of kindness - have you been the recipient of one lately or the giver of one? I love Kelly's little add on to her posts so that's what brought me to this today. Last week we were at a special church meeting and our friend's mother invited us for dinner. There's 5 of us and it's not always easy to have 5 extras when you're planning for it but at the last minute is even more of a feat. We had plans already so had to decline but it meant a lot.
Accountability - I made homemade rolls on Sunday and I ended up eating one last night. This is the only time of year that I bake now and I love it. But I have to get my mindset in check so that I don't give in to temptations!
Menu:
B: 2 strips of bacon, fried egg
L: cheese tray from cafeteria
D: Chicken I think?
Exercise - today is Upper Fix
Vitamins and water on track. Have an awesome day everyone!!

Good morning! Happy surgiversary. I can't believe it has been almost a year for you. Time flies.
First day back to work after vacation was BUSY and stressful! I was up half the night worrying about how to address some issues that came up yesterday. I anticipate a pretty insane week and a half, but then I am back off from December 20 - January 2! I can do this :)
Accountability: I had 1/2 a cookie last night (it was one of those homemade melted chocolate over a saltine--mmmm!), but the rest of the day was on point. I sipped my afternoon snack, as I often do, but I would rather have it with me as an option.
QOTD: I brought in all my holiday baking and gave it to random school employees--mostly school office managers and custodians, yesterday. I also often am caught in the middle of a "pay it forward" chain at Starbucks. I think it is great that that happens at least once a week.
Cheering you on for your rough few days!

A pay it forward chain at Starbucks? That's awesome! I don't think I've mentioned it but my son is hoping to go to Boston for 4 days at the end of January. I'm recruiting my bestie to be a spy with me to keep an eye on him lol! In reality he's a great kid, and I know he will be fine- but I'm feeling anxiety because it's his first trip without us.

I swear I posted here, but it is missing!
Good morning from Cape Cod, where we arrived around 4 yesterday. I'd like to see a little snow before Christmas but it doesn't snow much here (even if it does in central or western Massachusetts). I need to get the Christmas decorations up today and tomorrow!
QOTD: I like to think there is always kindness, random or not? A friend drove us to the airport yesterday. Someone on OH reached out to extend good wishes on an upcoming procedure I'm having. I've been supporting a friend who had VSG yesterday (just messaged her, but no resonse yet - she was having a lot of nausea yesterday).

Glad that your travels were safe. All the best for your procedure. I hope that the healing goes well and that there isn't much pain.

Thank you! I think it is all about expectations. I expected WLS and TT both to be much more painful than they were, so they seemed like nothing. I didn't think the facelift I had with the TT would be painful at all, and it eclipsed the TT (because of a headache mostly). So now I'm anxious because of the facelift experience (so maybe it will be nothing???).
