haven't heard of them - but I'm very familiar with Allison Krause! I love bluegrass - I bet this was a great concert!

Hi guys...never checked in on favoriteChristmas movies: Charlie Brown's Christmas... Love the music....the original Grinch and a Christmas Carol with George c. Scott. One nice tradition: listening to NPR on the morning of the 24...festival of lessons and Carol's from England. I highly recommend it... It's really beautiful. It's on in the morning in Philadelphia PA.

Today I'm going shopping with a close friend. We both love to shop ....we'll have lunch and then hit home goods...I always want everything there.

My cats...Molly and Woodie... Have been here about a week... I think their mission in life is to destroy everything in my apartment. They're great.

B. Premier protein and coffee

S. Yogurt

L. Cheese

Not sure after this since I'll be out.

Have a nice day everybody. Nancy

Good morning. Today is going to be a great day! We are headed to church this morning. Its the first week of advent.I love it when my whole family can go. It doesn't always happen because of work schedules.

I feel like I am struggling mentally with my weight loss. Like I don't want to see people. It makes me uncomfortable when people ask about my weight. Yesterday was a huge craft fair in our town and I didn't want to go and see everyone. Its almost like when I was obese, I didn't want to see people. How do I get over it?? How do I feel comfortable being me again. Any suggestions on books to read? I always need a really good response when people ask.

Food for today-

B-2 eggs, 2 oz black forest ham 1 oz shredded motz

L-1 chicken sausage, 1 c. cabbage sauteed( so good)

D- 4 oz baked cod

S-chomps if needed

Accountability- I ate 2 crackers yesterday with cranberry goat cheese on it.

I did get used to that after awhile - and most people now either never knew me as fat or have already seen me since I lost weight, so most of the comments and questions have stopped - but I still occasionally run into someone whom I haven't seen since I lost weight. Sometimes those interactions still bother me...although they're few and far between now. But I know that feeling...

I always hated the comments or questions. Some sounded like an insult, but said with a smile. I learned to smile, say "thank you for noticing. I work hard on it. How much did I lose? A bunch.. BTW, your are looking great, have you been working out? " The last part shifted the attention to them, and allowed me to detach myself from them...

What is interesting, that when app ,2 years ago I lost the last 15 lbs of regain, I did not see that in a mirror. But people noticed, and commented. It was as annoying as when I lost 100 lbs.

Practice makes perfect. Go out - face people, the sooner you do it, the faster they get used to new you and the comments should stop.

What was the most annoying to me that some people would make a point of telling others- new people I met, that I had WLS and that I lost a lot of weight. That was really annoying. Ugh.

Open house at my friend's last night. Blew it. Felt like crap most of the night and still feeling like crap this morning. Lesson learned.

today - coffee with DH, meditation class at 10:30. I usually go to Aqua Zumba Sunday evenings, but this rash on my legs is still awful, so I'll go to yoga instead. The chlorine in the pool might be good for it, but on the other hand, it might not be - and if it's contagious, I sure don't want to make anyone else sick. Nothing else on the agenda today - other than making some headway on a book my book group is discussing Thursday night (I thought this one was for next month - YIKES!)

2 years 6 months out today!

B: homemade Greek yogurt with 2 T Crio Bru grounds and fresh raspberries

S: coffee with half & half, protein/Miralax latte shake

L: cottage cheese or meat balls

D: pulled pork, salad

probably another yogurt somewhere in there...
