Love all the decorations. I'm a Scrooge I guess--only thing I have out is a nativity set. Just too many inquisitive animals here.

I only tried pork rinds last month. BAD decision. I love them so and could eat all the bag no matter what size.

Good morning! I rode in today, and I can't feel my hands or feet. Gonna have to break out the better gear I think. I'm so glad it's Friday. I've had a hell of a week here at work. I've done very little "work" because, as a union executive member, I've had to represent an employee that has her share of problems. It's a battle of conscience for me, because I believe in my heart that the situation is very much there, but very much embellished and games are being played. Separating my personal feelings and judgment from the situation and just doing what I need to do is key for me and I'm hoping it's done soon, one way or the other. Maybe then I can get done what I'm actually here to do. It's been rough. If I didn't have coffee........lol

Other than that it's been a good week outside this place. I've got Christmas music on in my office and it's keeping me centered. This weekend I have a gig with the band (tonight), tomorrow a city-run family event in the park, a turkey dinner with my parents and then we are all heading down to the Santa parade. Sunday I'm taking my Dad and my daughters to a hockey game. When it'****ting the fan here at work, these are the memories I go to so I don't go mental.

Menu: I had a small bowl of fibre cereal (ahem....for later) plus I'll have an extra-watered-down shake to sip on here, which will also form my snack. Lunch will be a protein bar, and the AS if I get to it will be another shake. I was lazy today and didn't pack "food". I wanted a high protein/water day leading up to the gig so I'm not dead tired after. The band will likely go to Crabby Joe's to chill out after we are done, and if there's anything there I can nibble on I will. If not, decaf it is. The band's food choices don't bother or tempt me in the least.

QOTD: I don't do syrups either, but lately I've been OK with adding a splash of milk and a sweetener to coffee. I NEVER did that prior to surgery so I'm wondering if that's just a taste bud thing. I still prefer it black. The other day I went through Timmy's and I was halfway home, opened my coffee and it was a 4X4. I darn near went off the road it was so gross. I went back and (graciously) asked for that to be remedied, and they gave me one. The girl was very apologetic and she had a rough day, so thanked me for not ripping into her (I'm not like that anyway). We all need to treat each other better.

I suppose I'd better end this book and get to saving the world. Hahah

Have a good weekend if I'm not on here.
