Aww! I love that randon email/text idea. I do this from time to time, but good to have a reminder.

I like the random email/txt idea. I think I'll send one to my former team as I have been thinking about them!

Ok so I'm still in my pre op process but still need to be accountable. So I will post total calories from previous day. My PCP has me on 1500 calories daily. He asked me at my last visit how that was going, I said, "well, it's a goal!".

Yesterday-1677

Qotd-love, love, love my Amazon prime membership. We bought A Sam's membership when they built one closer to me, but we never used it. It's just me, hubby, and 2 fur children.

Happy Friday eve!

Hi Teena and guys.... It's a nice day here just outside of Philly. I used to belong to prime but I stopped using Amazon... Mostly because I ve always been a major impulse shopper and was spending way too much. I dropped my credit cards for the same reason. If I have money...spending it is just irresistible!

Had a great nsv yesterday. I was able to stoop down pull on my full backpack and stand up. Walked for about a mile didn't get tired sweaty or out of breath. This is really exciting for me. Before I became smobese and super arthritic I loved hiking but haven't been able to for years. ( many years ago had plans to hike the entire App. Trail it fell through). Now ... I won't be hiking the entire trail.... That ship has sailed...but with increased conditioning I will (iwas going to say may...but I want to commit!) be able to start hiking again...maybe with a couple of walking sticks...but I'll be out there.

B protein drink and coffee

S yogurt

L. Cottage cheese and SF jam

D eggs with cheese

S sugar free popsicle

Have a nice day everyone. I'm going to spend the day getting out Christmas decorations and deciding which are not going to work due to my very new cats.

Nancy

Good morning! I usually don't do the accountability part, but I feel compelled today. I had 2232 calories yesterday due to pasta and chocolate chip cookie intake. Back to basics today!

QOTD: We have a BJs membership which I use for stocking up of specific items. Unfortunately it isn't very close in Florida so I may not be able to use it here. BUT I also have Amazon Prime and I love that!

1 year, 8 months post-op, maintenance:

B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, and Canadian bacon

L: Turkey salad

D: Grilled Fish and veggies

S: yogurt

Hi RnYers! Happy Thursday!

OH are my first post, grrrr! So this one will be brief.

QOTD: I have Prime and usually a Costco membership as well, though I sometimes allow it to lapse. I enjoy Costco, especially at Christmastime, though I find it a challenge not to spend more than I budget for on groceries, etc. there, even though the price to quantity ratio is good. Prime is very convenient.

First: coffee with cashew milk, protein drink

B: turkey, warm, with a little Snowdonia Bouncing Berry cheddar.

L: roast beef, Pommery mustard

D: roast beef, green beans

Have a beautiful day, RnYers!

Good morning OH~ Glad the week is almost over!! I have sooo much to get done at work today and I am procrastinating like crazy... Ugh, just do it! Anyway I am off early to go visit my dad today. I'm also holding my breath about my son...he is heading to MEPS in LA today to join the Marines, OMG....praying everything goes well for him through all the testing tomorrow. Proud Marine brat/mama here.

QOTD - We belong to Costco and I spend far too much money there. I try to keep my trips/spending to a minimum but somethings you just can't beat anywhere else for value and quality.

Accountability - great!

1 year post op - 161!

B- coffee w/hc, HB eggs

l-hot Italian sausage w/onions and peppers

d- SF teriyaki meatballs over cauli rice

v/l - on track

Have a wonderful day all!!

Wishing your son (and you!) all the very best! What a huge step he's taking. You must be very proud of him, albeit nervous!
