Morning!

Busy day of classes, work, dermatologist appointment (darn adult acne!), and grocery shopping.

QOTD: Yes! Birthdays are a big deal in my family. My sister and I are both adopted and sometimes birthdays can be hard for adoptees, especially if you don't know your true birth date. So my parents have always turned birthdays into a week long celebration to remind us how thankful they are for us, how we were hand picked for the family, and other cheesy things that meant a lot growing up. So for any of our birthdays we got a week of chores, a birthday card everyday, a small gift everyday, then several gifts on your actual birthday, and pick where/what we eat for dinner for the week.

A: totally forgot to take vitamins yesterday

M1: protein coffee

M2: ham and olives

M3: okra with nutrional yeast

M4: yogurt

M5: leftover roast from two days ago

M6: I might indulge in some bariatric hot cocoa

Good morning~ I kept waking up all night from about midnight on thinking it was time to get up. For some reason I was worried my alarm wouldn't go off or that I wouldn't hear it. So glad its Wednesday. Today should go by fast, I have meetings, deadlines and a few errands so I will be busy which is great - less time to think about food....

QOTD - Birthdays are always a nice dinner out - their/my choice w/ dessert too. Madonna Inn cake is always my son's choice. It was always fun to go there and just have a piece, such a treat. Now I watch and enjoy my coffee, lol.

Accountability - great, but too much SF gum - yup - it's a thing...ugh

Good morning!

I was hoping I could continue my downward weight trend but I'm back up to 166 this morning. Such is life.

QOTD: all of the birthdays in our family are in early summer, so by the time my birthday comes around at the end of July, I'm all birthdayed out. I really just like some time to myself and to get a massage or a pedicure or something. A BBQ with family usually happens since my son's birthday is a few days before mine.

Accountability: There may have been some rice eaten last night. And I wonder why my weight is up.

Good morning! Posting while waiting to donate blood today at a work blood drive, so making it quick

Qotd: birthdays are pretty quiet, sometimes we'll go out to dinner or see a movie, but I don't do big parties anymore.

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs, cheese, sautéed kale

lunch: work is bringing in Chinese, I'll have broccoli beef and an egg roll, and skip the rice

dinner: salmon and a vegetable of some variety. Likely green beans?

HW: 340 SW: 329 Goal: 170

Good morning! Last day of this vacation and back to the grind tomorrow. Hubbys colonoscopy went well yesterday so today aside from an eye appt him and I are just going to run some errands and hang out.

QOTD: We don't do anything specific each year but this past year since hubby was turning 40 I gave him a smallish gift each day starting the 1st up through his bday (the 20th) and we had a small gathering at a pizza place.

Menu: B: latte, eggbeaters, turkey sausage links and 1/2 an orange L: TBD S: yogurt, nuts and pork rinds D: steak and cauliflower mashers ES: homemade yogurt with canned pumpkin and fiber cereal.

E: an hour stairclimber and 40 mins elliptical this morning

I slept in today but I didn't go to bed till after 2 am.

Qotd my dad takes me out to eat, I get to pick the restaurant. Nothing special.

B ham and cheese omelette and string cheese

L tuna, cottage cheese and honeycrisp apple

D chicken, bits of green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing and seven layer salad

Good morning and happy Wednesday. We're having an uptick in temperature here and will probably be close to 80, but there's rain in the forecast. I'm hoping that it cools down and that the temp stays down. I want to wear sweaters and my boots!

TQOTD - I'm not a huge birthday person, so not really. My family typically gets together for a nice dinner at a restaurant we normally wouldn't go to, which is nice.

A: I was having a small pouch day yesterday and only ate about 4 oz of food total and a latte before leaving for my 4:30 doctor appointment. When I left the office at 5:30, I was starving so I added in a part of a protein bar. Given the fact that I ate so little prior to that I was fine. I also had to eat a mini kind bar before spin. Because of the RH episode I had before thanksgiving, she won't let me take class unless I eat a small snack and check my blood.

My plan:

B: 2.8 oz turkey

L: 4 oz NY strip steak (It's another small pouch day, so don't know how much meat I'll actually fit in, but that's the plan)

D: Tri-Tip

S: SF latte, Kind bar before TRX class (see rules above )
