What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning and happy Tuesday. Yesterday seemed to draaaaaggggg. But I think that always happens when you come back after a short week. Hopefully today goes by faster. I have an appointment with a new GI doctor this afternoon to discuss my ongoing acid issues. Hopefully he has some good suggestions.
TQOTD: Yes, my hips and my legs. I still have to wear wide calf boots (although I like to tell myself it's because I run, so my calves are muscular, but in reality not so much.) Also with my hips, its a good thing I didn't really let other people's NSVs get to me. Those posts with "I can wrap a bath towel around me with room to spare" Me, not so much. I still can't and don't think I'll ever be able to.
My plan:
B: 4 oz turkey (although more than half is still sitting on the plate next to me)
L: 4 oz NY strip steak
D: Turkey probably
S: SF latte and definitely something after my appointment and before the gym
Good morning everyone!
I finally broke the 165 barrier and was at 164.2 this morning. A small victory but I was at that weight for almost a month.
QOTD: My bottom half is way bigger than my top half. To the point where my shoulders, bust and amrs are looking scrawny and I'm still 20 some pounds overweight. I started to wonder if I have mild lipodema since I feel like I'm very disproportionate, but my bottom half has shrunk with weight loss, just not has much as the top half.
Accountability: Not great. In a moment of weakness I grabbed 2 pieces of Halloween chocolate from my son's stash. Ended up with RH and had to eat a piece of toast with PB at 9pm. Went to bed feeling sick.
Menu:
B: coffee with fairlife milk
S: eggbeaters with mozzarella
L: crack slaw
S: greek yogurt with no-sugar added peach cup
D: pork roast
S: cashews
Cheers!
Karen
Good afternoon!
sorry I've been mia again! I'm still in such a good apathy stage that I'm eating almost the exact same thing daily.
So lately I've been binge watching Merlin on Netflix. If there's any doctor who fans here, you should check it out. It's great, especially as you get further along.
QOTD: Yes! My stomach fat will not get off of my body. From the waist up I look pretty normal, thighs down look bug but not unattractive. But my stomach? Ugh. That's always where I've carried my fat though. It's funny, because I hear that woman typically are more pear shaped and carry most of the weight on their hips and thighs, while men get that beer belly look. Yeah, I have the beer belly look as a girl. Which is apparently the most dangerous places because its visceral fat and surrounds your organs . Boo.
M1. Protein shake (PSA quest protein is meh)
M2. Raw walnuts
M3. Turkey
M4. 1/2 orange
M5. Turkey
Sooo not my best meal day, but I'm lazy. Lol
.
E: going for a run. I'm using couch 2 5k app and really enjoying it.

I just noticed that you only have 64 oz of liquids in for the day. I had trouble losing with only that amount and only when I got consistently more than 100 oz per day did I start to lose. Just my thoughts.

You are right. I struggle with water. Always have. I thought I was doing well with 64 ounces because I am not including my 20 ounces of coffee.
