Janet,

Anything with the sugar alcohols does the same thing to me. I have always been that way, even before surgery.

I can't do SA's but can do regular sugar and don't dump.

Good morning. My husband is out of town this week for work meetings and i hate it. I think it reminds me of when he was deployed. I just miss him.

I have work today, so that will keep me distracted and I am going to decorate our mantle with Christmas lights.

QOTD- I think I have lost pretty evenly. My stomach will always be my problem area. Its not really fat now, just loose. Part of me wants a TT, but the other part is fearful of the pain.

Food plan for the day-

B- 2 eggs, 2 oz black forrest ham, 1 oz light motz

L- 4 oz shredded chicken breast with pico

D- Adelles chicken sausage sliced and sauteed with 1/2 c. cabbage ( this is my new favorite)

S- chomps beef stick if needed

Lots of water and hot tea, Vitamins ready to go.

Have a great day.

I actually found the TT to be way less painful than I expected. My facelift was way worse (which I did not expect).

Good morning :)

Hot cocoa sounds delightful this morning. I made the mistake of thinking a sweater would be warm enough this morning since they are calling for higher temps. I was wrong lol. Yesterday was so boring and I expect today to be the same. Lots of people are sick or on vacation.

QOTD: I feel like for the most part I lost it fairly evenly, but not my belly or inner thighs. My butt could use a little more padding, but it is definitely better than that first year boney butt pain. I think face, hands, and feet were the most visible at first, but all measurements went down pretty consistently.

Post-op two years, eight months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - chicken

Lunch - leftover chicken sandwich

Snack - cheese string

Dinner - maybe pork roast

Snack - protein shake if needed

All water and vits.

UGH! Weight is still up (3 lbs above my "oh crap!" weight). Calories have been OK the last 2-3 days. Must have been the 1/2 leftover chicken quesadilla I had for lunch yesterday? Or maybe bathroom backup? This is driving me nuts! Usually by now it's started to drop, but no... Maybe I'll try going a couple hundred calories below my calorie allotment the next couple of days (it's hard to do that, but I'm not sure what else to do...)

QOTD: I think I lost it pretty evenly. I'm apple-shaped, though, so most of my excess skin is in my abdomen. It looks pretty awful...

2 years 5 months out:

B: homemade Greek yogurt, 1 T raspberry preserves

S: coffee with half & half, vanilla pumpkin protein/Miralax latte shake

L: cottage cheese

D: leftover turkey, salad

Good Morning! It's chilly for us this morning, high temps have dropped 20 degrees since the weekend. I'm currently hanging out in the waiting room while my hubby has his colonoscopy so my menu is a bit up in the air since I don't know exactly what time we will be back home.

QOTD: I think it was actually pretty even where the weight came off.

Accountability: I added some Artic Zero and a banana.

Menu: B: latte, and I packed my usual "snack" for breakfast so I have salami, nuts and yogurt L: TBD S: TBD based on if I am home for lunch and eat my normal breakfast eggbeaters and stuff or else I'll eat it for snack D: TJ turkey burger and edamame ES: yogurt with pumpkin and fiber cereal

E: 6 miles ran and 30 mins stairclimber this morning

W/V: on track

I hope everyone has a great day.

Morning Menu Peeps!

QOTD: I lost pretty evenly, but I was like that as I gained as well. I have noticed that my calves aren't as thin as I think they should be for my size, but I really think that has more to do with the vein/swelling issues I have going on. Which reminds me that I need to call the doc office to get the ablations scheduled! I really hope after that, that they go down a bit. I can still wear all of the 'regular' calf boots I've bought since I got to goal, but I just don't have ankles like I used to.

Accountability: I did well yesterday, although I did eat a few too many SF hard candies, and we'll just say that my family didn't want to be too close to me last night! I did that to help keep the 'grazing' cravings, and it worked... didn't mean to chase the family away though!

Today my daughter goes to the MEPS program for the Army. She'll report to the office today at 2:30, then has to spend the night in a hotel downtown (which I think she thinks sounds pretty cool), and they'll wake her up at some god awful hour in the morning to go do all her testing... This momma is mildly freaking out! Her plan is to be enrolled in the ROTC Program at OU here in Oklahoma, and enter the Army as an officer (if she passes) after her 4-year program through college... Never thought I'd find myself as an Army mom, but you can bet I'll be the biggest supporter ever now.

Weight this morning 140.6, still up, and I don't like it one bit. 18 months out/ maintenance diet (with a OMG, I need to get back down to 136-138 dropped in)

B: 1 egg/ 3 pieces of bacon/ salsa

S: Cheese stick/pepperoni if I need it/ pork rinds... these are all here at work

L: I forgot to bring my food today! I'll grab something while I"m out getting things for my ugly christmas sweater for this weekend.

D: Chicken legs, grilled... or leftovers (I made homemade Salisbury steak last night)

S: Latte Love... I found a decaf chocolate macadamia nut bean this weekend and paired it with the Jordan's SF Peanut butter syrup last night... it was honestly much better than I though it would be!

Good morning OH~ It's chilly here this morning, but supposed to warm up to 70 later. Even so, I'm wearing a warm sweater because I'm cold all-the-time-now. After having so much time off, I'm having a hard time getting back into my work routine...my care quotient is in the crapper. For someone who is always on top of everything - this is new.

QOTD - At 300 pounds I was most definitely an apple shape. I would gain first in my middle/upper body - stomach and boobs mostly. It's were I lost first also. I feel very proportionate now except that I have no butt, haha...

Accountability - great

1 year post op - 162.3 - YES!!!

b-coffee w/hc, HB eggs

l-turkey lettuce wraps

d-hot Italian sausage w/onions and peppers

v/l - on track
