What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
Good morning and happy Tuesday. Supposed to warm up a bit today and that always makes me happy.
QOTD: Did you find when you were losing that there were certain spots that seemed to take longer? For me it's my legs. I can only wear regular boots if they are stretchy and my thighs still look huge. I wish there was a way to target those areas!
Accountability: I ended up having some crackers when I got home last night because I was hungry waiting for dinner. Tonight, I will go for the cold cuts if that happens.
Menu:
B: 1 egg and a side of bacon
L: Not sure as it will be from the cafeteria again
D: Chicken- haven't decided how I'm cooking it yet
vitamins to be taken shortly and calcium and vit d a bit later.
Have a a great day everyone!
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
Good morning! Early fly-by before I hit the road for work. Evaluation yesterday was frustrating, but expected. No loss but no gain either which was what I was fearing more. My last evaluation is Dec 21st, then I'm done and hopefully can get my approval and surgery date! I'll have to work with DH on a date--he has to have surgery in his hernia sooner rather than later, and I don't want us both to be invalids at the same time.
QotD: hard to say now, except I can identify with the legs situation, Teena! They're my biggest problem area. I fear I won't wear boots even after weight loss :(
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa
lunch: spinach salad with 3 oz chicken breast
snack: oh snap! Carrot cuties
dinner: unsure. Likely salmon or shrimp. I haven't had water-creatures in a while and I have both in my freezer

Good morning! We are getting a lot of the items on my to-do list accomplished, so I'm happy. Unfortunately I have to go tot the cable company office for a new box today because the TV isn't working. I tried yesterday mid-day and the line was an hour long so I'm going first thing this morning.
QOTD: I think I lost pretty evenly (I had gained that way too). My stomach was the worst, but that was skin and a TT took care of it.
1 year, 8 months post-op, maintenance:
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese, and Canadian bacon
L: Sliced turkey and cheese
D: Leftover veal Parmesan
S: yogurt

Morning all, gotta make this a quick drive by post today. Probably won't have time to come back and read today.
QOTD: I have elephant thighs and always have. It's the first fat to come on my body, and last to leave. I've always had to buy pants too big in the waist to fit so round my massive thighs, and this is still true at goal...grrrrrr.
Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!
My back seems to be slowly getting a little better. I might be able to take Blossom for a walk today. YAY!
QOTD: Pretty evenly, except I still have a bit of a tummy. And of course, loose skin on my thighs and arms. I probably won't have PS because of my age and my finances, though.
Accountability: Protein - 61, Calories - 925, Carbs - 94
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: Alfredo chicken
D: turkey meal
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision.
Have a FANTASTIC day everyone!

Karen, glad that your back is healing. I'm sure that Blossom will be happy to get out too.

Happy Tuesday menu folks! I am back in the office after a week off and two days of teleworking. It is hard to get up and get ready to make the commute, but I managed. I have alot to catch up on now that I am here. That makes me nervous because I hate being behind.
This morning was really cold, but by afternoon it is supposed to be 60. I'd like to take a lunchtime walk if possible since it will be nice out. I didn't get in my walks while I was in NY so I feel rather sluggish. Tonight is back to deep water aerobics though so I will get in some exercise either way.
Accountability: On Sunday night I had a sugar free Klondike bar and by Monday morning I was really sick. I had horrible diarrhea, I assume from the alcohol sugars. Strange that I didn't have any reaction to the pumpkin pie with sugar on Thanksgiving, but the sugar free ice cream made me really sick. I will have to be really careful of SF things now.
QOTD: My butt and thighs have retained more fat than any place else. I lost in my breasts pretty quickly.
Menu:
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, 1/2 cup plain oatmeal
Snack: Lemonade protein shake
Lunch: fish, salad
Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, apple
Dinner: ? not sure since it will be late
Exercise: long walk, deep water aerobics
