Good morning everyone. Thanksgiving was wonderful. We are at the beach. The boys limited out on crab yesterday. So for Thanksgiving, we had steak, crab and asparagus. I wasn't even tempted by the garlic bread or pecan pie. I did eat some cheddar popcorn though.

Wednesday was my 1 year Anniversary of my surgery. It has been really emotional for me.

We are headed home today. I'm going to start decorating Monday.

Food for today-

B-2 scrambled eggs with crab

s- chomps ( we will be in the car)

L- leftover steak

D- smoked chicken sausage with peppers, onions and shredded motz

I really need to push the water today. I have not been drinking enough the past few days.

Happy Shopping Friday.... We are not going shopping today. My daughters friend hates shopping so we are going to take a tour of the Ben & Jerry's factory and then find a couple of other Vermont spots to take her to. She is from California so this is her first time in Vermont so we want to give her the whole experience.

QOTD: Once my daughter leaves on Sunday my husband with begin decorating. He likes the house inside and out to be decorated when Emily gets home for Christmas break.

Food for the day: Other than coffee and a hard boiled egg this morning I have no clue we will be on the road so it will be up in the air.

Hope you all have a great day......

So are you near Montpelier? Our son got his bachelors in culinary arts from New England Culinary Institute and we used to love visiting Montpelier. I commented to my son the other day that I missed it.

Hi Liz,

We actually live closer to the New York border or south of Killington ski area. It is crazy there this weekend with the Woman's World Cup Ski Event. They are expecting 15K-20K people. I think I will just stay away from the mountain this weekend. The event does not start until tomorrow but traffic was hopping today when we drove through on our way to Waterbury to Ben & Jerry's.

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. It was torture being around 5 pies but I only had one tiny bite of the filling from an egg custard pie. I stuck to turkey, green beans and a couple bites of stuffing. QOTD we don't put up a tree as we have a goofy dog with an inquisitive nose and two rambunctious cats. We do put up a small tabletop nativity set. I did however put up the huge Christmas tree at church Tuesday and got the lights on it as a help to our pastor. We will be decorating the church this Sunday during and after church. Post op 5 years 3 months and weight at 119 today due to bathroom issues. Lily and I walked 4 miles this morning and will do another mile later. Food for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli ham and cheese 3 baby carrots D 1 c ham and bean soup S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices that move you closer to your goals!
