What's on your Wednesday Menu RNYers? (Day 3 Gratitude Post)
Good morning. JB, I'm so happy for you. Your Thanksgiving sounds awesome! My family is in the middle of a thing where 2 of my aunts aren't speaking to each other. So, we're going to one aunt's on Thursday and the other on Sunday. I was put in charge of dessert for Thursday (yep, put the fat girl in charge of the dessert) and that aunt only wanted ONE thing (she picked pumpkin bread pudding). I couldn't do that because (a) fat girls are not cool with just one dessert choice; and (b) not everyone likes bread pudding. So, I've been trying out various options. I think I've settled on the pumpkin bread pudding, brownies and apple pie cheesecake bites. On sunday, my mother and I are responsible for basically the whole meal and will be cooking and transporting it to the beach. Have no idea when or how everything is going to get done.
QOTD: I'm grateful for the support I've found on this site. I couldn't not have made it through all the crap I've dealt with without you all.
My plan:
B: Leftover ribeye
L: ? I didn't plan well at all today
D: ? See above (probably a bunless burger that I pick up after the gym and on my way to baking hell)
S: SF latte, Cheese stick, Kind bar between spin and TRX (yes, I'm also the idiot who signed up for two classes at the gym knowing I have to be a one person bakery. Sometimes advanced planning is not my thing)
I am grateful to be able to work from home so I can get my son off the school bus and be home with him:-)
B- 3oz white meat chicken salad, coffee w/milk
L- sargento balanced snack
S- premier protein shake
D- kielbasa 3oz and broccoli if there's room
730cal 20carbs 63protein 28fat 9sugars
Accountability- I have been eating protein forward with very little to no carbs but have not logged my food in a week or so. I am recommitting to using my fitness pal everyday and eating on plan.

I am grateful for each and every one of you. Your contributions to this site and especially this daily thread help me to appreciate the incredible opportunity this surgery has given us all, and help me to appreciate just what it takes and what it will continue to take to stay on the straight and narrow. I know that all of you understand very deeply and personally the toll that obesity has taken on your lives. That's something that people who haven't lived through it do not, and perhaps cannot, understand. So thank you all for your generosity, your kindness, and for sharing your lives here with me! Wishing everyone a warm, happy and loving Thanksgiving!
First: Tea with cashew milk, Cinnamon Buns protein drink
B: 2 oz. ham with mustard
L: 1.7 oz. turkey breast, 0.4 oz. cheddar
D: 2 oz. sole sauteed in the pan, with lemon
Enjoy your Wednesday RnYers!

Hi all!! I left work early today for school conferences. Grateful: While the teachers would prefer otherwise, I'm thankful for the quiet nature of my son. I'd rather try and get him chatting to try and stifle a chatterbox.
Wer're heading out to Grub buger now (who cooks the night before thanksgiving?!). My weight is in my uncomfortable zone- would have preferred a little wiggle room going into the holiday.
