Good morning. Happy Tuesday. Stayed on plan yesterday, except for a mini-kind bar before spin. After last week's low blood sugar debacle, the instructor wouldn't let me get on a bike until I assured her I ate before class. I was fine with it because my calories were on the light side. Happy to say I made it through the whole class without twitching, falling over or otherwise having a BS crash.
TQOTD: Grateful that I have people at the gym who care enough about me to make me eat a mini-kind bar!
My plan:
B: Ham (which I may regret. My weight is up and I know it's from the salt in the ham . . . which I've now had for 3 days straight.
L: Ribeye steak
D: That is an excellent question. I had nothing at home to take out. My refrigerator/freezer is filled with thanksgiving food. I guess whatever I pick up after the gym. Maybe a bunless burger
S: SF latte, likely another mini-kind bar before spin since it's the same instructor
I didn't know there was such a thing as a mini Kind bar!!! I might need to look into these because I've not bought any protein/snack bars in a long time because of the calories... a mini is just what I've been wanting!
Glad to hear you made it through with no problems. I missed your post about it, but sounds scary none the less!

RNY 5-16-16 Pre-Op 9lbs, M1-18.5lbs, M2-18.1lbs, M3-14.8lbs, M4-10.4lbs, M5-9.2lbs, M6-7lbs, M7-6.2lbs, M8-8.8lbs,M9-7.8lbs, M10-1 lb, M11-.6lbs, M12-4.4lbs
I get them at Target. They come in a box of 8 and each box has two flavors. 1 box is peanut dark chocolate (100 kcal) and cashew cherry (90kcal). The other box is sea salt almond (90 kcal) or caramel almond (90 kcal) (I think that's the calorie count for the second box). The calorie to protein ratio is really not good, but they work for me when my blood sugar starts to fall. I really would not recommend them for those trying to lose weight, but for maintenance, and if you understand what you're getting, they're not bad.
Hello everyone,
Finally taking a break from work to chime in.
Gratitude: I am thankful that I don't have to worry about embarrassing my children. I mean, I will gladly embarrass them on purpose, but I don't want them to feel bad about the way I look.
Accountability: I was doing so well, but then came downstairs late at night to get some water and somehow there was half a chocolate chip muffin in my mouth. WTH? I cannot let my guard down in the evening.
Menu:
B: 1/2 cup eggbeaters with reduced fat cheddar
S: coffee with fairlife
L: Zupa Tuscana. I drink all the broth first, then eat the sausage and kale. Leaves me quite full.
S: vanilla pudding
D:?? Definitely not a muffin. My MIL made them and they weren't even that good...
Have a great one!
