What's on your Sunday menu RNYers?
Good Morning Erin and Menu Family!
Today we are having our family Thanksgiving. We are having it early because some of the are going to in-laws on actual Thanksgiving Day. I am bringing relish trays, rolls and an apple pie. I might splurge a little today and eat a small slice of pie. I'm looking forward to being with our family.
QOTD: I suppose you could say I'm a prepper. I've been gathering little things for my daughter for Christmas for a while now. Her birthday is Jan. 5th, so I have to be shopping for both at almost the same time. I still usually end up doing some last minute shopping, though.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 78, Calories - 1,207, Carbs - 157.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: hamburger with melted cheese, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: turkey, ham, green beans and maybe a small slice of pie
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, 2 Atkin's peanut butter cups
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!
~ Karen
A blustery miserable day here in Illinoisbut Lily and I have our 3.8 miles in already and will do another mile after supper. Getting ready to head up to church shortly. QOTD we usually go to the in laws for holidays so the only prepping I have is for a couple dishes to take. Even then I wait til the last minute to decide what to take. Accountability was good with extra steps andno extra bites taken. Knitting while watching tv in the evening has helped immensely with the urge to snack. Post op 5 years 2.75 months and weight at 118.6 today. Heres the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1/2 c tuna salad celery sticks D 31/2 oz ground beef with salsa and cheese 1/2 c cauliflower steamed S sm apple with 1 T peanut butter. Have a great day everyone annd make smart choices that move you closer to your goals!
Karen, I am always so impressed with you consistency. You do so well!

I did great eating-wise yesterday - but I'm up a pound today. This drives me nuts. I guess I didn't notice the fluctuation as much when I was SMO because I didn't weigh very often - certainly not every day. I didn't even eat much sodium yesterday, other than a cup of cottage cheese at lunch (which I know is high in sodium, but the rest of the day was fine). ARRGGH!
today I'm planning to head out for coffee and newspaper reading, then meditation class, then later to the store to get stuff for Thanksgiving. Then either yoga or Aqua Zumba this evening.
QOTD: I can be a real planner with some things but not with others. re: holidays, not really. Ours are pretty simple....and often routine. We've had Thanksgiving at my sister's for several years and I always make the same things - turkey, stuffing, sweet potato casserole. I even kept my recipes from last year so I wouldn't have to search the internet to find them again...
2 years 5 months out:
B: homemade Greek yogurt, fresh raspberries
S: coffee with half & half, vanilla matcha tea protein/Miralax shake
L: I think a salad
D: probably something like pumpkin yogurt with bran cereal (DH isn't here, so my dinners are looking more like this these days...)
Morning folks!! It's a windy day here in Philly, which made my run hard. Today is the Philadelphia Marathon, kudos to those doing 26 Miles in this wind. Ugh.
Ive got squat to do today. Will likely run to Walgreens and Save A lot for a Few things I forgot yesterday. And I need to review and write performance reports. I'll also do our budget for the next six months.
Qotd: I'm a prepper, I detest having to make impromptu trips to the store- especially knowing how crowded the stores will be. I make my dinner menu and work through each item to make sure I don't need an ingredient. Christmas I have a list of who I'm shopping for and what I'm buying. I won't go shopping without ideas on what I'm getting folks. I know me and will just end up shopping for myself instead!

Good morning all.... WHAT a day it has been already...I was up bright and early this morning 5:30 wanting to get some work work done and then at 7:20 power goes out ARE you kidding me!!!! It just came back on. Now I am behind in work and laundry but I decided that today I am doing what I can and at 3pm I am done doing work and cleaning and watching NASCAR.... my two favorites are racing for the championship and I am watching it!
QOTD... For Thanksgiving nope that is my brothers deal all I do is bring coleslaw, rolls and pies. Now Christmas is a whole other animal.... We generally do that at our house but there is talk of changing it up this year because the nieces being into it and it would be cruel to make them leave there house on Christmas day. Maybe Christmas Eve will be at our house instead. I really don't care as long as I get to see them and give them the car load of gifts we get them that is all I care about....
Food for the day:
B.... Coffee now that I have power so I can make more and eggs w/ cheese
L: roast beef
D: sausage w/ marinara sauce
Hope that everyone has a wonderful day!!!

Good morning everyone. Still sick with this dumb sinus cold and now I've infected Rob so we are laying low and watching football all day. My Patriots v Raiders game should be interesting in my house as my son is a hard core Raiders fan. I'm so glad we got out yesterday and took care of everything we needed to do.
QOTD - I'm pretty organized and prepared. I don't stress about anything, it's just not worth it.
Accountability - had hot and sour soup last night from the local Chinese restaurant and I don't know what is actually in it but I was up a pound - so there you go.
