I didn't have boots when I was heavy as even wide calf ones were too tight. Now I have a collection: 3 pair long brown boots,2 pair long black boots, short brown, short black, short gray and a pair of brown hiking boots. I wear boots just about every day during the winter and fall. Love them!

I love them too Karen! I always love the photos you post and especially enjoy the ones in which you have on boots! That one photo of you walking through the woods with your tall boots on is a favorite. I love boxers, too! I've never had one, but I will never forget a white boxer puppy I encountered what must be 30 years ago. He was so bright, so inquisitive, and so spectacularly charming that I instantly was smitten with him (and, by extension, with his entire breed!). What a great dog!

I also wanted to say to you that I really appreciate the generosity, gentleness, and deep kindness you show to all of us here, especially when someone is struggling. Thank you.

Good morning! Menu on the weekend is a little bit different than the week but not terrible. Breakfast was a hard boiled egg on wheat toast, and a thin piece of ham. Then after a bit a coffee which was incredible.

Morning snack is going to be half a protein bar, and afternoon the other half. Not sure on the rest but I'll behave.

I'm 6 lbs away from goal now. Pretty excited. Looking forward to smashing thorough that.

Qotd: probably happened yesterday. I bought a dress shirt, size L and it fit beautifully. I am still dumbfounded.

Remember, no matter where you go.......there you are.

Morning RNY'ers!! I got my 6 Miles in, showered, dressed and breakfast is done. No plans today-- yeah! I will grocery shop for thanksgiving, I will not step foot in a supermarket again till Saturday-- too crazy!

My Traders Joes favorites have diminished. The more I ate the Chile lime turkey burgers and turkey meatballs the more my tummy didn't like them. They taste good, but didn't agree with me in the long run. Lemon bars, frozen raspberries, bagel spice are the only TJ's things I looks forward to now. The rest of what i Get there is for the family.

Accountability: oK. I've really been trying to watch my sodium intake. I've given up most deli meats now, so for my usual go-tos I'm scrounging to find replacements for.

Qotd: most unexpected NSV was proabaly being able to fit my kids jackets. The idea of wearing a 12 year olds jackets was laughable at one point in my life. I'd bought my son a youth XL denim jacket from the Gap he gave up on. It's now mine and fits. And the other day when I was sick at work my boss gave me his sweater since I was cold. Normally I'd avoid that situation cause I knew it would never fit me. Low and behold- it was big on me!

This weekend is busy for me! I have my husbands company Christmas party tonight and then tomorrow I drive my mother in law back to her house and then back home (across the state of south dakota and back) I will put on approx 1000 miles tomorrow.

Qotd: I had to go buy new scrubs for work as mine no longer fit. I was trying on the pants and I went from xl to a medium! I have never been a fan of shopping and get very discouraged when things don't fit the way I want them too. But it was a win!

Accountability: spot on and protein forward!

Menu: B: protein shake L: cheese stick everything else is up in the air but will be protein forward!!!
