Hi everyone, happy Wednesday
I was in the middle of posting from my tablet a few hours ago when I accidentally closed that window and lost my post! Grrrr!
QOTD: Teena, I hope you love your first American Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays (who am I kidding? Every holiday is one of my favorites!). I love my family so much, and any time I can have time with them makes me deeply happy. The older I get, the more I appreciate and savor our time together. I am not doing any cooking this year, just enjoying!
I have never gotten into Black Friday shopping, though I would like to get a new TV this year and will check out the ads to see if any appeal enough to buy. This is a desire but definitely not a need, so I will see. My sister-in-law and her daughters have always accomplished their Christmas shopping on Black Friday, though!
When I am at a low weight I do love clothes shopping, but at this point I still don't. Now and always, though, I thoroughly enjoy shopping for art supplies, makeup, books, home decor, roses (I'm very into growing antique roses), jewelry of course, and Christmas decorations. I am into Christmas sparkles to a ridiculous degree. I actually am teetering on the edge of imposing strict limits on my magpie nature in this category - I have enough ornaments to decorate at least 4 large trees, yet I only put up one (aside from small tabletop trees here and there). I think that from now on I will strive to keep my acquisitions to one of the annual Swarovski stars or snowflakes and one new Patricia Breen ornaments per year. Yet even as I type this I can hear myself saying "yeah, right!"...so we will see!
First: Black tea with cashew milk, Cinnamon Buns protein drink
B: 2 oz. Turkey
L: 2 oz. Tilapia with lemon
D: 1.7 oz. Ham, 0.3 oz. Cheddar
Tons of tea, all vitamins
Have a beautiful day, RnYers!
Thanks. I'm curious if there will be any significant differences from our Thanksgiving but since my mother-in-Law is American, and my sister-in-law was Canadian, I expect they will be fairly similar.
