Good morning. The NSVs continue to rain into my life. Yesterday was the Healthy Holidays kickoff for my employer and they had a great breakfast spread. They also were making snow globes with fun costume pictures. That sweater is a women's L. Sadly I was informed it lights up after they finished the globe. But that was fun! My company does do some interesting healthy programs. Sadly the cafeteria doesn't always help. For example they deep fried the Moningstar farms veggie patties. Really? At the healthy kickoff! They do that stuff all the time. Each day they list the entrees and rate them by color (green/yellow/red). Almost never list green items (either because of fat content or carb content). I always get a kick out of the Big Texan burger - lists at 1,600 calories (and that's without fries). Yes that shows red. But always good items on the salad bar and on Monday they offer sashimi and a humus bar. Last week was cauliflower humus. That was my salad dressing - yum.

B - Eggwhites and salsa

S - Fage, cinnamon and pumpkin seeds

L - 3oz turkey and small salad

S - Syntrax shake

D - Crack slaw leftovers

S - SF popsicles and small apple

Good Morning! Sounds like you got a bargain on your clothes-awesome!

QOTD: Sometimes I like shopping but I sometimes I get impatient. We sometimes go out for a few fun things on Black Friday but nothing too serious. I think my least favorite thing would be jeans (I have a hard time finding a pair I like) and my favorite would probably be shoes.

Accountability: Not great last night. I think I might try a decaf coffee tonight and see how that goes to keep the extra snacking at bay.

Time since surgery: 3 years 3 months

B: SF latte, eggbeaters with roasted red pepper, ½ an orange and 2 turkey sausage links

L: Spaghetti squash casserole and baby carrots

S: Salami, Carbmaster yogurt, mixed nuts and a SF popsicle when I get home

D: Trader Joes Chile lime chicken burger, cauliflower mashers topped with cheese and bacon bits

ES: Homemade Greek yogurt with canned pumpkin and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 1 hour stair-climber this morning and 40 mins of elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1190 Protein:111 Carbs:80 Fat:51

Have a great one!

Morning Teena, what part of PA you having Thanksgiving in? I'm near Hershey myself. Oh I just reread your post and noticed your least favorite thing to shop for is my favorite, lol. I like Home depot to pick up supplies to do housework, but also I always go to Walmart for the big multipacks of food containers but not during the rush hours cause it gets crazy trying to get their tv and electronic deals. This year my plan is Jcp on thursday evening then walmart and Homedepot in morning for tools and house decorations, then maybe Christmas tree shop for house stuff and the rest I normally do online. I love the website BFADS.net for making a plan. Also sorry I am new here so not sure if linking a site is a bad thing and if so I apologize. Anyway have a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone,

I have been doing so well during the day, but evenings are really hard for me. I need to have some kind of hard line to stop eating. Sometimes chewing on gum works or having only hot tea after a certain time. Anyway, it's something I need to figure out.

QOTD: I love to shop but am so short on money these days now that kids are in private school. My favorite is to shop online at zulily. They have new deals every day.

Menu:

B: coffee with fairlife milk + 1/4 cup sugar free pudding (had a sweet tooth this morning)

L: ham and cream cheese roll ups with baby bell peppers

S: HB egg

D: leftover pork tenderloin

S: greek yogurt with no-sugar-added peach cup

Cheers!
