What's on your Wednesday menu RNYers?
Good morning menu peeps and welcome to Wednesday! We made it halfway. ?
I bought a few things off a local buy and sell last night- a sweater dress, a pea coat and a maxi skirt from Eddie Bauer. The dress and coat would have cost $100 new and the skirt probably $50. I got them all for $35 so I was pleased.
QOTD: So as you may remember, we are going to PA next week for our very first American Thanksgiving. We're really excited. This also means we will be experiencing our first US Black Friday. Do you like shopping? What's your least and favourite things to shop for? And please... share your best Black Friday shopping tips! Any stores in particular that we shouldn't miss? As you can probably tell, I love shopping and clothes and home decor are my 2 favourite things. Tools and auto stuff would be my least favourite.
Accountability- yesterday was good- I had chicken pad Thai for supper but didn't eat the noodles.
Menu:
B: 1 egg, 2 strips of bacon
L: Possibly Leftover Beef stew - have to check the fridge in a minute.
D: This is up in the air. I think it's a pizza night so I will probably have the pasta in a tin without the pasta.
S: Greek yogurt
vitamins will be taken. Have a fabulous day everyone!
RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.
77 lbs lost and counting!
Losing the regain! I got this!
And just another quick note- next week we will do a gratitude challenge. Each day the QOTD will be around NSVs that you're thankful for. And we will finish on Friday with a photo of what you're most thankful for. Thank you Cynthia (NYMom) for the suggestion!

Morning Menu Gang! Today is going to be a weird day. I am all over town for multiple trainings on a variety of issues. I literally need to leave in 20 minutes and still have not decided what to do with my car for the majority of the day. If I move it and park at each place, I will spend close to $80 in parking today. But if I leave it one spot and take pubic transportation I will still spend $22 in parking and be riding the rails all day. Ugh, decisions decisions...
Accountability: Perfect all day, until I ate one mini Reeces cup before bed :( Also -treadmill update!: I ran one quick mile in the morning and one quick mile in the evening! I love the convenience of having it here in the house. Now I need to find a really addictive show to watch so that I want to keep watching while I run. Any suggestions?
QOTD: I did the stand-in-line-at-midnight thing once for a crazy good deal on an iPad at Target. It was actually sort of fun. The Target employees were handing out cocoa and granola bars to the people in line and singing Christmas carols. It was very orderly--they only let about 100 people in at a time and had the store cordoned off so that if you were there for the big deals, you could just literally follow a line to get there. I'm not hankering to do it again, but all in all it was a pretty enjoyable experience.
I jus****ched the first season of Mindhunter inNetflix. I loved it and it's got rave reviews but it's a bit disturbing.
It's not exactly scary. Suspenseful at points but it's not like horror. Psychological thriller maybe but it's very heavy with smart dialogue.
Its about the inception of FBI psychological profiling of serial killers. It's like Mad Men but it's the late 70's... and then you replace advertising with serial killers!
