What's on your Sunday Menu RNY'ers?
Good afternoon! Having a lazy-ish Sunday after hitting the gym this morning. I haven't been going regularly lately since I've been working long hours and it showed. Did a little housework, then took a long bath with a lavender and chamomile bath bomb (purchased at a craft show last weekend) and turned on an audio book. It was the most relaxing bath I've ever taken, and I only got out because the water was turning cold and my skin was raisin-y.
Ive been slipping on the low-carb diet, and my weight has been up. To reward us at work for the long hectic hours, our company has been ordering in lunch for us and I have a hard time resisting free food, I guess. Especially when hot cheesy pizza sounds way better than the tuna and spinach I brought from home.
My appetite has been low today, however. I had a meat stick (another craft show purchase...they're amazing!) and a slice of Swiss cheese before the gym. I had an americano with sugar free caramel after my workout, and water since. I do have pork loin chops in the fridge for dinner, and roasting some butternut squash with it, but that's it for food today. Maybe I'll have a spinach salad with dinner too.
Hoping this low-appetite keeps up. My 5 month pre-op weigh-in is next Monday and I'd rather not show any regain from what I've lost so far during this evaluation stage.

Good late afternoon!
wow I've been gone for a while! I pop on to read everyone's menus but haven't jotted mine down. Most because I have had super food apathy lately. I just haven't been hungry and food seems eh- so I've been doing two shakes a day and a couple of small meals for about two weeks. It just hasn't been worth typing it out every day.
QOTD: this will be my first thanksgiving since surgery and I'm still in the losing stage (25 pounds till a healthy BMI!) so I want to be careful. I'm honestly a little nervous. In the past I was a massive over eater. That "oh my gosh you have to roll me out of here" fullness was my high. ESPECIALLY with carb heavy foods. Honest to God, I could eat an entire bowl of stuffing and then the rest of a meal. It's sick to think about. So this year I'm going to stick to turkey and maybe some seasonal veggies like squa****'s a strange thing to mourn the loss of certain foods, how unhealthly attached and dependent on food I was.

Hi everyone!
thanks for kicking of the thread peach! I was at my parents, and their wifi was down, and I don't have any cell reception there!
I'm back in the city and online!
Qotd: our thanksgiving was back in October, and we hosted part of the weekend, and saw a big chunk of my husbands family. Thanksgiving has always been a floating holiday for us. Never any set plans or traditions.
acoutability: off.the.rails. At the shower yesterday I ate alllll the things. Today was back on plan, but I've been circling the kitchen like a shark.
menu:
B: leftover meatballs and sliced ham
Dinner: rotisserie chicken and broccoli salad.
S: a handful of peanuts. And a Greek yogurt.
hope everyone had a great end to the weekend!
