I made it
A turkey meatball, mashed with ricotta, mozzarella and sausage was an early favorite of mine. Chicken salad, using dark meat chicken was another constant. Scrambled eggs was and has been a mainstay.

My goal is always skip carbs.
Breakfast is always egg something. For Lunch, the triple zero yogurt is a daily staple. Tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salads are rotating dinners with the steak/chicken/pork/turkey fitting in. I gave up peas because of carbs. Just don't. I will have oatmeal when I'm desperate. Figs are a new fix for me. They fit with walnuts well and I can do them when hiking or add to the steal cut oatmeal. Hummus (with carrots never carbs), protein peanut butter on celery I added recently. You'll get enough carbs without trying.

yeah I go to the doctor on Tuesday, for my first post op appt. I hope to talk to them more! My food is not the same as any other plan.... I have started small and tried other foods, but scared that I am pushing my self to fast!
You sound exactly like me in the beginning. I was only able to take tiny sips of water and in no way was I getting enough calories let alone protein. And my weight loss was like a pound or 2 every couple of weeks. Once I was able to take more water and calories my weight started coming off. I was also struggling with getting my protein in. The premier protein shakes are literally the only shakes I can tolerate. I only drink one a day and try hard to get the rest through food. So hang in there it really does get better!
