I made it
yeah, I gained like 7 pounds in the hospital, so if you count that its 20....but mentally I knew it was all gas anf fluid, so I don't count it.... should I of?
trying to!!! some days are easier then others. today I have not even hit 20 yet... but other days I hit 24 by noon... all I do is listen to my body and take it one day at a time
Early on 80% of my nutrition came from protein shakes. Greek yogurt, broths & creamy soups, sugar free jello, pudding.
What phase diet are you on? I had one week clear liquids, two weeks full liquids, two week purée and then two weeks soft foods. Those first three-four weeks were boring and repetitive.

I'm sorry but you have been very misled. Pasta? Really. Pasta should never touch your lips until you hit maintenance.
Wow.... hmmmm..... I guess I got to figure out what I can do.... I also guessing no toast and crackers to.... no wonder I have not lost weight this week!!!

I apologize if I sounded negative. You should be eating as carb free as possible. You need protein to help you heal. Lots and lots of protein. With the small pouch you have you should concentrate on protein not carbs. Veggies are good but eat protein first. You said you are allergic to eggs so you need to talk to your doctor or nutritionist for some advice on how you can get more protein. Also you can search in the nutrition section of this forum for ideas in your current stage which sounds like stage 3.
Please you do not sound negative at all!! right now I live on eggs, tuna, and protein shakes. my doctor feels that liquid calories are not to be used, so starting this week (that I end on Tuesday), I am to start reducing my protein shakes. I am allergic to milk and gluten. I tried lactose free yogurt and the first 2 were great, but the third one sat weird so I am giving myself some time before trying again. its just amazing to me that I know my diet is sooooo much different then what my some of my friends did. I know for a fact they were eating eggs, sausage, ham (salad) and things like that with in 14 day of their operation.
in the nutrition class they tell you all the food to avoid and that is about half of the list that is approved right now. now mind you I am allowed cottage cheese, yogurt, apple sauce (unsweetened), and mashed potatoes as well.... but crackers and toast?? and my next 3 weeks its soft fruits, cooked veggies and pasta.... then not to week 6 am I to to even try beans, or ground beef, chicken and other meats..... then starting week 7 I can have whatever food I want to try.
