Ending the losing phase

It is partially that, but it's also that the low low low calories no longer satisfy me the same way. I used to be STUFFED at 600 calories. I remember thinking I could not eat another bite of yogurt... not anymore! I can white knuckle it and keep calories around 700 as needed, but most days I take in over 1000 in maintenance.
I think that's very typical. I started working towards maintenance at the beginning of August and was eating 700-900 calories per day at the time. I now eat 1,400-1,700 or more per day. I did what someone else suggested and added 100 calories at a time. I assessed my loss each week and continued to increase. It's actually not that hard once you start doing it.
I increased mostly with low volume, high calorie foods. Moving to whole fat yogurt, avocado, nuts, nut butters, olives, seeds.
