Revision on 11/06/17

Hi everyone! I had a revision from band to RNY on Monday. I have felt horrible since. One of the incisions is under a role of fat and it feels like my lower belly is pulling it down. The surgeon said my Port was very hard to remove and they expect me to be very sore. I've also had trouble drinking fluids. Yesterday I managed to get down 52 ounces but only one protein shake. Today I haven't been as good, all I want to do is sleep. I finally passed gas though. When does this get better?

The first few days can be difficult. Just keep sipping your fluids and walking. Both of those will help alot.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble. As you already know, it's very important for you to get your fluids in. I would hate for you to end up in the hospital for dehydration issues. I hope you start to feel a little bit better soon.
