QOTD: I gave my mom a large jar full of little "Thank You" notes. 365 of them, so she could open and read one for each day of the year. They said things like: "Thank you for reading us bedtime stories", "Thank you for letting us have pets", "Thank you for putting up with me as a teenager", "Thank you for staying on friendly terms with Dad after you divorced", "Thank you for being such a great role model as a mother", etc. After that year was up, I kept adding notes to her jar and eventually had like 600 or so notes for her, including ones that said, "I'm proud of you for ..." (getting your pilot's license for example) as well as the Thank you notes. I hope she got them all read before she died.
