What's on your Tuesday menu RNYers?
I noticed your daily goal is higher than it had been for a while? Has your weight dropped down or is it to accommodate the running? I am jealous, btw. I used to love to run. I feel like I could again, but at my age I am petrified of screwing up my knees badly and needing replacements.

Yeah, two things changed.... First I decided that I am going to do some very restricted weeks and others at a higher range to switch it up a little. I also decided to change the settings on MFP to account for the exercise. I am not planning to eat back the calories, regularly, but I think I need to see how exercise calories fit into my overall day. I will let you now how it works, but so far so good :)
I do see him chime in now and then - always very helpful!

hey all
QOTD: when i was a teen, I went with my neighbor to key west from north GA. It was 15 hours. they rented a 15 passenger van for my, friend, brother, and husband /wife. It seemed excessive now that I look at it. We stayed on marathon island on this villa and it was gorgeous. the friend, brother and dad went snorkeling and I didn't get to go because of my weight. bummer...
My weight is a bit up today, not sure why, ive added in some raw veg and green beans into my diet so that should not be it. also been working out everyday so that could be it. anyway not letting this start an eating frenzy for me because I'm down about it.
food for today:
veggies
coffee
water
tea
corned beef? more water
not sure on dinner
Good morning! It is cold and wet here this morning (mid 40's). It has been such a mild fall so far that this feels super cold.
QOTD: My longest road trips have been to Florida and back (1500 miles each way). I did it in 2004 when DD had to have surgery in Miami and this past winter/spring. I'll be doing the down part starting on 11/19, but may leave the car there indefinitely. We are flying home for Christmas (12/11-1/5). I don't mind the drive as long as I don't have to deal with traffic much. I HATE traffic! I always had a long commute (varying from 45 minutes to 2 hours each way). Traffic was always an issue for those commutes so I avoided it like the plague (hence my getting up at 4:30 am for years). I actually like driving sans traffic, and I plan stops and meals to make sure I don't get too tired (and cranky).

Good morning :)
Another day at work. I'm looking forward to the weekend as our friends are coming for dinner on Sunday.
QOTD: longest road trip for me was down to Florida. We took two days to do it and I did 95% of the driving. I won't do that again. I was so exhausted by the end of the second day and couldn't enjoy our vacation.
Post-op two years, eight months
Breakfast - egg
Snack - turkey sausage, yogurt
Lunch - keilbasa
Snack - pepperoni and cheese
Dinner - unknown. Maybe pork roast again.
Snack - protein shake if needed
All water and vits.
When we did it in 2 days I felt the same even though I only drove 50% of the time. Last year I drove 100% of the time but did it in 3 days each way and that was MUCH better. This year we are taking 4 days (staying an extra night in Charleston SC).
