What's on your Monday Menu?
Good morning :)
Back to work this morning. Our day off was fun. Had lunch at a lovely restaurant then took DH to a hockey game for his birthday. Our team won, so that's even better!! Saturday and Sunday were horrible eating-wise. Back on the train today. I was doing really well for a couple weeks, but then I got sick and lazy.
QOTD: I took french in grade 9 and Latin in 10 and 11. I wish I had kept it up. Latin actually really helped with my understanding of a lot of English words and their origins :)

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a good day. I made the ricotta bake and added lots of ground beef. It was really tasty and satisfying.
I am seeing my surgeon today and I don't know why I am nervous. I look back at pictures and I have come so far! I went hiking last week with my aunt. I feel like a billy goat hiking up and down hills.
My food plan for today is-
B- 3 oz black forrest ham, 1 egg , 1 oz light motz
L- salad bar out shopping. I usually get turkey, boiled egg, cucumber, tomato.
D- ricotta bake
Snack/emergency food if needed- chomps meat stick
Lots of water and vitamins. Have a great day, be happy, be kind.
Good morning!
B: protein shake and a couple of meat sticks to chew away on as I work.
MS/AS: 1/2 cup FF greek yogurt with 2 oz mixed berries
L: 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese/1/2 cup tuna with broccoli/cauliflower/carrot chopped up and mixed in.
S: Probably an omelette, something quick. Drum lesson night, and it's the heavier of the two nights I teach.
ES: Decaf, but I might put a little milk and a sweetener in it. Pretty rare that I add anything to my coffee but once in a while it's OK.
The weekend was amazing. Food-wise it was fine, though Saturday morning I did have a piece of rye toast with a million seeds on it, with an egg. Other than that I was good, and still haven't had 1 piece of Halloween candy.
The band had an incredible show, and we had so much fun. I kept it low key on Saturday, took my youngest daughter to the farmer's market for our weekly outing. She got these little mini-donut things, I got my spicy meat stick supply for the week, and a coffee from a local barista who loves what he does, and it shows in the quality of the product. That afternoon my family had a road trip to meet up with the guys from a band that's been broken up for 16 years, and we had a jam for a reunion gig in a couple of weeks. After warming up, it was like we'd never quit. A quick visit with family and we were on the road home. Sunday morning I played drums for my church, and I was just beat Sunday afternoon. I think I slept for 3 hours, and that wasn't enough. My hands are pretty beat up from the drumming (and I'm still healing from running an impact driver through my thumbnail) so I'm going to take it easy with things.
QOTD: I'm not fluent, but French. My daughters are in French Immersion at school, and it's quite interesting to see them learn in that environment. My youngest reads French better than English of course, and our nightly storytime is usually a French book from her classroom library. She loves it.
Good Morning Teena and Menu Family!
Teena, I appreciate you doing the Menu board so much!
QOTD: I took French in high school and college, but that's been so long ago I've forgotten most of it. I wish I had taken Spanish, because I think that would've been much more useable.
Accountability: Yesterday: Protein - 103, Calories - 1,290, Carbs - 107.
B: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt
L: chicken alfredo, light & fit Greek yogurt
D: stuffed peppers
S: prosciutto & mozzarella sticks, light & fit Greek yogurt, banana, Atkin's peanut butter cups.
E: Walking Blossom around the subdivision
Have a WONDERFUL day everyone!

French is our official 2nd language and I could have lots of opportunities to use it, but even when we drive through Quebec, I usually clam up and get nervous to speak it.
And thank you! I really do enjoy it. But if anyone else wants to do it please feel free! Just let me know if you ever want to so that we can coordinate and not end up with double posts- it gets confusing. :)

Losing the regain! I got this!
Good Morning and happy Monday. My weekend went by so fast and we didn't going to see Thor or go to the home remodeling show. Proud of my hubby as he beat is previous 5k time too! Em didn't beat her time and was bummed but she still did well and I am proud of her for getting it done. I will save the pics for Friday.
QOTD: Just Engli****ook three years of Spanish in high school and I don't know how I passed because I can't speak it at all.
Accountability: I did well over the weekend. I am kind of proud of myself because I didn't use my 1/2 marathon to indulge in extra goodies and stayed on plan all weekend.
