Happy Monday! I will be on a business trip tomorrow until Thursday but I will have time to do the menu thread. Eating will be a bit more challenging this week as I will be on the road and in training sessions.

QOTD: Thanks to au_contraire for today's question. I will save the Christmas ones for December. Do you speak any languages other than Engli****ook French in school from grade 4 through to grade 12 and was in an extended French program for a couple of years. I'm actually surprised sometimes when the kids are doing homework how much I remember. I've always wanted to be fluent and I was close but years of not using it means I've lost a lot.

Accountability: It was not great. Not bad but it was a weekend of celebrations and I did have a small piece of cake. It was so not worth it. I was disappointed in myself.

Menu- we were out all day yesterday so not a lot of options for lunch today so it's a cafeteria day. Glad we have lots of healthy choices.

B: Fried egg and bacon

L: Probably the Salad bar unless there's a good protein option for hot choices

D: Chicken - maybe jerk. Haven't had that in a while.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! I had a busy weekend with my mom in town but after she left yesterday I had time to relax with a book and a hot bath with a new bath bomb I bought at a craft fair. We also bought a new piece of furniture for our kitchen, a little cabinet to put our trash can. It's double sided for two trash cans, so you can put recycling on one side. There's also a drawer above the trash cupboards that I'm going to use for our "junk drawer"...you know, that drawer of miscellaneous things everyone has? Lol

foid was alright, but not completely perfect and on plan. There were a lot of craft vendors selling things like salsa, dip mixes, cheese, fudge, etc and I did a lot of sampling. I did buy some teriyaki beef sticks, some chicken enchilada soup mix, white chocolate raspberry dip mix (well add it to yogurt), and yes...some fudge

qotd: I'm conversational in Spanish due to tears of study and living in a highly Hispanic population, but I'm not fluent enough to put it on my resume.

breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with veggies and 2 strips of bacon

lunch: leftover chicken Parmesan (no pasta)

snack: teriyaki beef stick

dinner: enchilada soup

Good morning menu folks! I did some swimming this weekend since the weather wasn't so great. I love swimming and find it very relaxing.

QOTD: I took French in high school and one year in college, but never became conversational. I've also studied Spanish several times in school and since. I wish I was conversational in Spanish since we have so many Spanish speakers in our area. It is one of my long term goals.

Menu:

Breakfast: hard boiled egg, 1/3 cup of plain oatmeal, 2 oz ham (I'm trying to add in some reasonable carb choices for maintenance and oatmeal seems like a good thing to try.

Snack: Grape protein shake

Lunch: TJ's chicken sausage, baby carrots

Snack: 2 oz turkey breast, blueberries

Dinner: ? not sure what I will make yet.

Exercise: 60 minutes on the treadmill or swimming
