Olives

what do you think about olives as a snack choice. I know olive oil is a good oil and olives have no protein.
Barely 3 weeks out from surgery I'd say olives are a waste of valuable real estate in your pouch.
Not a bad snack after you've eaten your protein for the day... in small amounts.
You need that protein first, but olives are better than chips and crackers.
Edited to add... not at 3 weeks though... seriously, at 3 weeks you need to stick to just the protein your pouch can handle... in 3 months, maybe.

Hi and ditto to what everyone else said.:) I would wait on olives. They really don't add a lot of value early on and the sodium too high.
